I heard it was something similar to 2015? That would be optimal IMO, he would have great difficulties winning on the 2016 course, altho we must not forget he actually finished 2nd in Bergamo after Bergamo Alta in the Giro this year, way easier stage than Lombardia (was raced very hard tho).

Lombardia is very similar to the one of the 2015 very few flat part , so many climbs ,all over long and steep , expect Nairo Quintana to do very well

The finish goes back to Como - that's all I know. It will definitely have the Madonna del Ghisallo but I'm not sure if they'd go for the muro again. It might go Ghisallo, Civiglio then San Fermo della Battaglia. But it's all (my own) speculation.

lombardia will finished in como as in 2015 civiglio in the last 15 km and san fermo della battaglia at 5 km to the finished , a cg rider could win this , uran , bardet , which i think could win nibali as well , it will be a good show

They didn't wait long, pretty soon the domestiques started riding and after that the heads of state, even then dumoulin didn't lose much time. Stop your what ifs..

i read an interview of Landa he said that he doesn't speak to Nairo ,and say he will have no problem because Nairo cannot race all the races , he would like to to the giro but letour is a race that he likes , he said that Froome was the strongest rider at la vuelta 2016 , THIS IS NOT A GOOD START

Think that was more of a case of being in the right wheel, though I do think Quintana's sprint isn't as bad as it could be.

i have to remember landa how strong was Quintana in formigal stage , he would have gain a minute or more even without the contador attack with branbilla , and remember stage 20 when froome attacked and Quintana was having a park riding . so Landa keep down you'll do what you did at sky in movistar also

Tomorrow there will be the official presentation of illombardia the last monument , Quintana will start , with landa , kwiato , bardet , aru , nibali , uran , maybe Chaves , it would be really fan to watch the route is damm difficult so these gc guys with all battle for the win
