Nico and Eddie Dunbar in the break over the first climb in the Irish race - only lap 1 of 6 so a long way to go...

All the favourites are in the break...strange they all went from the off ..though expected Dunbar to be up the road

Yep, current break is:
Shaw, McConvey, Brammeier, Roche, Dunbar, O'Loughlin, Feeley, Downey

then 55 seconds to:

Wilson, Dowling, Mullen, McGlinchey, O'Mahony

I guess it's more like an A4/A3 or ICL race than what you see in the world tour with strong teams and evenly matched riders :) The strongest riders are a lot stronger than the weaker riders, so they can pretty much just wind up the pace at the start and and go off on their own confident that it'll be hard for the county guys behind to organise a chase.

Bit of a shake up in the German NC

New group:
Thomas Koep (Stölting Service Group), Andreas Schillinger (Bora-Argon 18), Florian Bissinger (WSA-Greenlife), Robert William Kessler (Lkt Team Brandenburg) und Florian Kretschy (Cycling Team Sachsen)

Ticker says 35 seconds with 77km to go.

Big shocker, Bouhanni was involved in a fight.

Rafał Majka is new Polish RR champion.
That's good - at least for the rest of this season. Tinkoff make proper jerseys.
Have you seen Trofimov's jersey this year? ;)
True, that's a bit of an eyesore :) there is a great big flag on there though - in fact about five of them in Trofimov's case - which instantly makes it 100 times better than anything Movistar have produced.

In Slovenia a group of Pibernik, Mezgec, Roglic, Tratnik and David Per have more than 2 minutes over the next small group. Still 80km to go but it's between the 5 riders in front for the win. There was heavy rain in the area before so they are riding also on wet sterrato/muddy roads.
