I guess it's between her and Lisa Brennauer, maybe Clara Koppenburg on a good day.
Personal opinion is that the climb isn't long enough for Clara to come in solo, and she'd lose a sprint to the other two. The question is whether it's long/steep enough for Lippert to get some separation from Brennauer, Liane has a pretty quick finish but Brennauer's is historically superior at least, however Liane is the better puncheuse, comfortably. The fact that the final run in is essentially ramrod straight from the climb until the last right hander on to the final straight would suit Brennauer who is the superior rider against the clock so Lippert would need a bit of a gap to try to hold it.

I agree. Lisa seems to be on good form (even though she says she isn't there yet as she's building towards Tokyo). She's the only one with a team mate and they seem to be in control of the group.
With the climb not being that hard/long it would probably take attacks by several other riders forcing Ceratizit to chase each time.
Liane got a bit sick in the TT yesterday, probably due to the heat. That shouldn't be such a factor today as it's earlier but we'll see.

Claudia Lichtenberg is Co-commentating by the way!

Looks like a two-up between the two favourites impending? Would expect Liane to sit on on the flat run to the sprint if she can't drop Lisa more decisively here.

Brennauer just too powerful, Lippert did what she could and made her lead out, but the sprint from Brennauer was just too decisive and explosive for her to contest.

The German men's race could get interesting: thunderstorms with hail, heavy rain and wind gusts up to 100 kph are possible.
