Tampa if they play like the first half against the Bengals should win the last three games but they can also play like the second half. Honestly since they want to establish the run so bad, their blocking stinks, and nobody does this, I’d go hurry up with 3 or 4 TEs and 1/2 RBs the first or second drive to see how it goes. Go out with Otton, Brate, Kieft, and/or Rudolph with White and Fournette. The defense has to match your big personal or risk being ran over. You go hurry up so they can’t sub. Then you can split the RBs out wide with the TEs and you create mismatch with the defensive personnel. If it goes well, I’d then bring it back in the fourth quarter when the opponent defense would be tired.

Jets fans restless. Poor performance. Another one of the early front runners that has hit the wall. The end for Wilson at the Jets ? Jimmy G back with Saleh wouldn't surprise me at all.

As for the Jags. The difference between the previous coach and the current one couldn't be clearer. Lawrence is looking better and better and he is using his legs more as he should have been all along. He's not slow.

Completely forgot there was a game last night. Jets fans have to be disappointed with how well the record was to probably finish with another losing season. Jaguars on the way up and could steal the south if Titans falter.
Looks like Tannehill is done for the season & Malik Willis, the 3rd rd pick out of Liberty, is far from ready to carry the team - I think they're finished? They close out with home games against Houston & Dallas & finish with the big showdown @ the Jags.

I'll take Jacksonville in that division as well. Would love to see Detroit and Jax win out, then run into each other in the Super Bowl. Could you imagine that?!

Zach Wilson likely to never play another down for the Jets, even though Saleh said we hadn't seen the last of him. Yeah, sure. On PFT Chris Simms has been a Wilson apologist for what seems like forever. No matter how bad he does, Simms has found an excuse, or someone else to blame for whatever Wilson's done poorly. After last night, I can't see him have the most tiny spider leg left to stand on. A third string unknown, barely prepared, undrafted FA who last played for Winnipeg in the CFL, and was on the Cardinal scout squad, one Chris Streveler, got the call and outplayed him.

I think the Jets have reached a point where Mike White has got to be their guy the rest of the season. How he performs the rest of the way will dictate if they pursue someone like Jimmy G in the off-season. Wilson is gone, Flacco...how is he still in the league? Streveler? Who knows? Except he's better than Zach Wilson.

If Wilson continues like this wherever he plays next, he is headed the same way as Rosen, jumping from practice squad to practice squad in between being cut completely at some points. Saleh's expression during the game said it all...........Flacco came in for the Jets, had one great game and then fell away again, he is usually up for one good game per season at the moment which is why he keeps floating around as a QB3 that desperate teams will sign

Vikings and 49ers keep rolling. Wheels have fallen off the Titans. Panthers put an end to the Lions streak. The other results were not too surprising. Final few seeds in the NFC still up for grabs. Washington had some losses go their way.

The Texans future looks potentially bright. They are going to get the #1 pick in the draft, plus Cleveland's pick, which now looks like a top 10 pick as well. Good cap space in the future too. Unless they make some Cleveland-like decisions, they could be quite good in a couple years.

I can't stand Watson, so was happy to see the Browns lose again, and Mr. Big Money had another sub-par game. This game was in Cleveland, in Browns weather, against a banged up Saints team - a team that plays in a dome, in the south. And yet, in almost ever aspect the Saints outplayed them. Dalton completely outplayed Watson. Announcers questioned two 3rd and short and 4th and short plays having Watson throw, instead of running Chubb. Well, Watson is being paid insane money and they gave up a crazy amount to get him. He's the guy the owner wanted. So the coaches are obliging by letting the owner see his money at work.

Didn't expect Eagles to win. But I didn't expect them to give up 40 points either.

Lions defense really caved, when the team needed them. Even Goff played okay in the cold, but that wasn't enough. Really hurt Lions chances for the playoffs.

Seattle just about out of the playoffs too.

Washington came to play against SF, but Niners just way too good. Ran up a lot of points, even missing Samuel and others.

Buffalo's run game just gashed the poor Bears. Next week the Bills go to Cincinnati next Monday Night.

SEA: some bad coaching decisions, and very uninspired play for most of the game from the O. They had about 30 total yards in the first half until the final two minute drive (with a lot of the yards coming on penalties against KC). Walker ended up with just over 100 yards even though it didn't seem like it. The D actually did alright against PM and Co. since they were on the field a lot.

As big of a rival the Steelers are to the Raiders, I'm happy for the Pittsburgh fans. Yes, Carr blew that game for the Raiders (ho-hum), but the Steelers played tough, and gritted out a win. Storied franchise, with great upper management. I've been to Pittsburgh a few times, and like the city. Black and yellow everywhere almost year-round. They aren't likely to have a winning season, or get to the playoffs, but they played hard all season, and this win, on this day, is something they can be proud of.

Packers are in desperation mode against the Dolphins, but in Miami, where Tua is 5-0, I see Miami winning a close game.

Middle game should be interesting in that Mayfield has never seemed to do well in games that require patience. And against Denver, who is all defense, this could be a 16-13 game.

I have a feeling Tampa is going to put together a complete game to take care of Arizona.

Packers put it together when it mattered. Something they haven't been doing at all earlier in the season.

Outstanding game by Mayfield. Tom Brady level play. Guy seems to have learned a helluva lot in the last six months, and a type-A commanding coach like McVey is exactly what he needs. Though I think Baker will end up somewhere else next season. Not sure if Sean will stick around, his contract is about up and he's talked about "retiring". Not sure if Stafford can really come back to where he was either. As I said before, I'd retire if I were him.

Mayfield>Watson.

What an awful game by Denver. Both sides of the ball. Another rotten game by Wilson. Awful season. Two remaining games, KC, and LAC. Both need to win. Denver destined to hand Seattle a very high draft pick.

LAR just able to sneak past DEN.

Baker magic back...
Man...that was close game - I was on the edge of my seat. Lol

Whenever the schedule was put together last spring this must have looked like a premier game for the X-mas day specials. The NFL figured that both teams would probably be 12-3/11-4 & fighting for the #1 seed in their respective conferences. This would be a great QB matchup between Wilson vs Stafford - perhaps even a SB preview. They probably anticipated the ratings would be off the charts on the late afternoon X-mas day special.

Instead this was a turd of a game with a couple of 4-10 teams fighting to stay out of last place in their divisions. I quit watching it after the 2nd quarter- I didn't want to further ruin my X-mas dinner. Lol.

What gets me with Hackett is after Wilson threw his 2nd pick in the 1st quarter, why not just put Rypien in? In fact, why not just cut the losses with Wilson & sit him the rest of the season. There's nothing for him to prove by playing these meaningless games as the season draws to a conclusion. Imagine if he sustains a major injury that carries over into the next season - all because he played in season ending meaningless games. By sitting Wilson & playing Rypien the remainder of the season, he gets valuable playing time & the coaching staff gets a better assessment if he's capable of being a competent & legitimate backup in this league.

I don't understand the thinking of these HCs half the time. Who's running the show in the NFL these days - the HC or the players?

Don't think Brady wants to lose to another QB3.........Packers have to play the Lions and Vikings.........try and predict the result of those two games !

Packers are legitimately in playoff contention now when before no one gave them a chance from the outside. It’s been a slow meltdown of the dolphins who need to win out to make the playoffs. The packers and dolphins control their destiny and as fans of both can say, packers usually get it done while dolphins squander it away and go from controlling their destiny to needing help to finally fall short.

As the weeks go by, it just gets worse and worse for Broncos. For next year I wonder if they’ll commit to Mayfield and move on from Stafford as I think his contract will is up and they got what they wanted from him. The question is when will Rams have a first round draft pick again.

Bucs started the first drive like against the Bengals but Brady missed a wide open Julio for a touchdown and they had to go field goal.
Then they dropped back to their normal. Turnover on downs after penalty wipes out of a good run. They then pick up 14 yards and need inches, run the same play 3 times and get stopped by Watt each time.
Dropped pass makes the team punt.
Another olineman gets injured with penalties taking a touchdown off the board, followed by another penalty taking a first down away leading to 3rd and 19.
Brady throws int when moving the ball and in field goal range, but the whole drive pressure kept getting in from the missing olineman side and Brady was hit on the throw.
Dropped pass forces the team to punt.

Even worse, the Bucs tried my idea, on their second drive as well, though had 1 WR, 3 TE, and 1 RB and still couldn’t run the ball when they needed it.

Crazy that a team that has lead their division almost the whole way might not make the playoffs while a team that was floundering looks like they can get in.

Sloppy performance from Miami. The last two picks on Tua were horrible throws.

Denver started bad and stayed that way. playing like a team that is going through the motions and just want the season to be over. Doesn't seem to be much team spirit there. The biggest plays by Denver will probably be in the off season. Just a matter of how many heads will roll.........
