The only reason I don't think Purdy will get a huge deal is because more than a couple teams are regretting handing out enormous contracts to QBs who didn't come close to earning the money.
My guess is if Darnold plays at the same level he has been, even if the Vikings are beaten in the 1st round of the playoffs, there's a very good chance the Vikings will just franchise tag him. That would be $45m for one year, fully guaranteed. This would allow JJ McCarthey to sit another year while Darnold gets another shot.
Milroe looked only so-so for 'Bama, in a mistake filled game. Sloppy play early, some good plays late.
And just as quick Penn State finishes Boise, proving the NCAA screwed up their bracket. At least the NFL isn't this bad in it's seeding. Drew Allar may be a force next year.
