Ryo, are there any 2012 South American team jerseys that are good-looking, and (relatively) easy to order and ship to the Netherlands?

The only one I've seen is black with the Colombian flag (Coldeportes). I like Colombia, but riding with their flag is another thing (although I'm riding with Basque and Kazakh flags, not entirely uncontroversial either. At least they are small). Besides, I don't like black/dark jerseys.

I want a Canel's Turbo jersey.

Lol if that's the one that's being ridden at the TDU and not Nats I'll rofl.

They wont be so stupid as to having riders release the main kit now, when they've been so scrooge about it and "WE'RE RELEASING IT AT THE TDU!!!elevenoneone!11 "

nah, sorry, in the picture you see the jersey for Nats and Jayco Bay, but with the helmet they'll use all year long, from TDU on.
at Jayco Bay they used a second tier scott helmet

and the Saxo bank Venges look pretty sweet, but I don't like the new darker blue in the kit, the light blue last year looked classy.
and WTF Vaconsoleil?

ah, thanx. I figured it was something I should know. :)
Conti does look good in it with his dark coloring...way better than last year's I think..just for a change some intense colour.

...It's still in a strange place

He does look good in it, although the lighter blue last year worked pretty well as well.

Why is it in a strange place? :p

A friend of mine (who's also a huge Berto fangirl) and I call it the 'crotch eagle'

even tho i kind of like the normal sky kit, i honestly prefer the green one. . . and its about time they make a significant change to it, so much money and they can't afford to design a slightly different kit every couple of years?

I prefer the green one as well. It just has something... extra.

I think they are worried about trying to establish an image in the minds of fans. Once you've been around for decades like Rabo you can re-design every year no problem.

I hated last years light blue. I really prefer this darker blue. Funny how different opinions ppl have about style and design :)

it is slightly different... well very very slightly...

From a PR point of view Sky are probably doing the right thing. They are trying to bring new fans (especially young fans) in and one of the big gripes amongst fans has been the kit prices compared with say football (soccer). Ive said it before, but kids especially want to look the same as their sporting heros. Changing the kit every year does nothing for the parents bank balance.

Changing kits in football is a pretty sore point in the UK. Even the English national team have taken a beating in the press for changing their kit too often.

I loved the Green Sky as well!

And, yeah. I also far prefer the darker blue Saxo kit. Like I already mentioned, last year it was like they wanted to go blue, but didn't quite dare, therefore opted for this really pale blue...

Isn't this practically almost the same as last year's?

My thoughts as well...
