With an HCT of 48.8 I'm just hanging in there....lol. Just gave some blood this week. If living at 10,500 feet is doping I'm guilty.

Recently released CN postpassport data has revealed some unbelievable numbers for top posters. Don Catlin and other experts have always held that anything above 6.5 ppd is suspect. It is alarming to see that some posters over this limit have been banned (forget to make the "donations" to CN?), while some of the posters with the highest values appear to post with impunity. Biggest surprise was to see a moderator on the list (protected poster?!)

The Hitch - 18.1
Thoughtforfood - 9.80 *banned
Ferminal - 8.6 ppd *moderator!!
Libertine Seguros - 8.4
Race Radio - 7.7
Dr. Maserati - 7.4
Melo Velo - 6.5
Timmy-loves-Rabo - 6.3
Moondance - 5.9
Scribe - 4.9

Posting strike

Posting this much is not human. We should let these posters cheat for their health.

There is no way you can post at this rate on orange juice alone. I don't care how safe it is.

Dave.

These values are meaningless. What is critical is posts per day per hours spent at the computer. Maybe Hitch spends 24 hours a day at the keyboard, while some other poster with a much lower ppd is only on the computer for a few minutes. Granted, if you spend 24 hours a day on the computer, you are on amphetamines for sure, but not necessarily anything else. Whereas if someone spends only five minutes a day on the Clinic and makes 5 posts, he is definitely on something strong, like EPO (Elite Posting Overstimulant), HGH (Hands Go-Go Hormone), or even post belge (a mixture of coffee, alcohol, and selected porn photos).

So the critical factor is power/wait ratio, where power is expressed as posts per day and wait is expressed as minutes waiting on the keyboard. This value can also be converted directly into VAM (Verbal Activity Motion), which is basically a measure of finger speed. The highest recorded VAMs are around 1800 keystrokes per minute, but most authorities agree that these speeds are only obtainable through doping. Doping not only of the poster, but probably mechanical doping of the computer, as well.

I have it on good authority that the fan that Hitch has in his laptop, has ball-bearings that give a distinct cooling advantage of the processor, no matter what PC, laptop, or Mac it is fitted in, giving him the processing capacity for an extra 12% letter output per 20 standard keystrokes.

The media only focus on the few dirty posters in a clean clinic. No other professional cycling website puts their forum members through more testing than cyclingnews.com. 2.90 posts per day here. It is possible to moderate on nothing but bread and water.

Finally, the last thing I’ll say to the people who don’t believe in the clinic, the cynics and the sceptics: I'm sorry for you. I’m sorry that you can’t dream big. I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles. But this is one hell of a forum. This is a great message board and you should stand around and believe it. You should believe in these posters, and you should believe in these moderators. I'll be a fan of the The Cyclingnews Clinic for as long as I live. And there are no secrets — this is a hard pastime and hard work wins it. So Vive le clinic forever!

seriously positive

While I have no proof of doping the circumstantial evidence is overwhelming...

Any serial poster in the clinic is guilty.

And not to put too fine a point on it anyone posting in this thread is seriously positive(ly)

To prove to the world that I did not cheat when posting, I will publish my data. I will also hire Don Caitlin, even though I understand he is impossible to negotiate with and will probably never sign my version of the agreement.

In good faith, here is my data from last year. You can clearly see that there is NO regular pattern in this data that would coincide with any artificial posting program.

SNIP

And, I am going to change my name to D-Starred, to celebrate my Scottish heritage with a real Scottish surname and because I am a miracle and not an asterisk.

Dave.
Dear Dave, while your evidence has been (was) considered and accepted, a subsequent review has been requested by Unified College of Internet Posters (UCI P).

The UCI P submits that while your evidence is (superficially) compelling, the use of fractals and chaos theory reveals another more suspect possibility.

Would you therefore present yourself, together with any further evidence (highly unlikely), before the Posters International Tribunal (TIP) on the 31 May 2011.

I was logged onto Velonews when there was a knock at the door. It was someone from WAPA ( World Anti Posting Agency). I quickly had my stooge, sorry, IT expert, confront the tester while I ducked into the shower with my laptop and logged onto Cyclingnews. Quick thinking by my lapdog and the huge amount of porn I have downloaded of the Olsen twins, masked the fact that I am a proper c$#t and saved my bacon.

PS: I have both my nuts.

In the year 2011, there were two forumers without any notes in their moderation books - me and Dekker_Tifosi.
And how do you know that?

Smacks of corruption/collusion/conspiracy/kickbacks and bribery. As this information can only be regarded as "Eyes Only" for Susan.

To be fair, the only reason I have escaped sanction to date is that at the time of the investigation, unmoderated Clinic posting was not officially illegal in Spain, therefore no charges could be brought. I spent a couple of years in unofficial exile where no forums outside Portugal were willing to take me on, but time has healed the wound and I am free to take my dodgy posting values anywhere I please.

Its these guys that force the others to dope. Whenever i tried to write a comment i always found that someone else had got there before me. Its a case of speed up or get out.:(

It's my sister, not me

Just because my sister hangs out with known posters, and even writes their posts for them, does not mean that I am a poster. I wouldn't post unless I needed to.

And, I don't care what you say, her duo-core processors are real and have not been surgically enhanced.

Dave.

Polish is the real thing!!! He was trolling with the likes of TFF, ChrisE, Wonderlance back when he had less than 50 posts. I was there! That's even after he came back from his ban with a bunch of lead in his ego. Then, one day he just couldn't keep up anymore . Don't tell me that it's normal for a guy with the highest WPM ever recorded in the clinic to be pwned by noobs.

I think it isn't those with a high PPD that you need to be investigating. It's the posts/clinicposts ratio. If you have a naturally-occurring high PPD because of starting race threads, posting inquiries on the forum and linking to race feeds then you shouldn't have to be tarred with the same brush as those with perhaps a lower PPD but brazen Clinic posting. It's only in the last 10-15 years that this 'do nothing, then pop up to bombard the Clinic' approach has taken over, and it's really drawing attention away from the other fora. The greats of yesteryear, they didn't specialise like this. They posted to all different forums and won great respect all over the board. There has been a move away from these Clinic specialists of late, but many of those characters are also suspicious in that they maintain posting form for seemingly neverending periods.
