Ok, this makes more sense. CN has Dombro in 6th for Sky instead of Siutsou which would have been rather shocking.

Gatto or Haller, but what about Zabel?

What a non discussion. He finished 4th out of the top 10 on GC in this TT.

People don't seem to be able to comprehend that just because they're disappointed his TT isn't a weapon, given his pursuiting background, it doesn't mean his TT is awful.

in a GT TT he will be in the bottom half of the table

Don't talk rubbish.

In a GT more than half the riders don't try at all.

This whole discussion is just laughable and not remotely justified by his results. This is the first season he's been leading and his TT results when riding for GC have been -

22, 21, 11, 29, 19

Bottom half on a 1 hour GT time trial means losing more than 6 or 7 minutes to the winner.

yes, exactly. look at Bartali ITT to, awful results in a very weak field, like this ToA.

if he aims to be a GC rider than he needs to dramatically improve his TT.

In Bartali he lost 30 second to Caruso over a 10km TT because he had already won the GC and was celebrating down the straight.

Yesterday he beat Caruso.

Just a total nonsense argument. He's a very ordinary TTer, but he's not the ******* lovechild of Jrod and Pandy. No one thinking remotely seriously could suggest that.
