I wonder how many of them are real people. You can buy Twitter followers for pennies on the head.

Everything Armstrong said was carefully worded with key words that could be used in future lawsuits. He is setting up the defense.
Benotti69 said:I believe this was the real motivation behind the interview.
Oprah was used. I hoped she realises that and goes on a personal campaign to uncover what LieStrong is really about.
Surfdelux said:In her cbs morning promo interview before the airing, Oprah said that everyone in the room was "mezmerised" by Armstrongs confession.
Yeah, mezmerised by how little he actually said and how insincere he was, mezmerised by what a lightweight journo Oprah actually is.
A great match for each other. Legends with no substance and no character.
Spellbindingly shallow and dissapointing stuff.
Briant_Gumble said:I think it depends how familiar you are with Armstrong, if you are not all that familiar with him it could be pretty mesmerising to see the way he performed an about turn after vehemently lying and then went on to list all his other crimes.
It was like watching a stone cold assassin or something.
Lance had his agenda, Oprah had his agenda. So what? In the end, Lance admitted to full-blown doping in all his TdF wins, and being a bully. More downfall to follow.Benotti69 said:I believe this was the real motivation behind the interview.

For me the 2005 Lequipe article about the 1999 samples is where the Armstrong allegations gained critical mass.

but he was clearly hugely talented on a bike , would it have been absolutely impossible for him to have won without doping ?

ChewbaccaD said:Please don't link to articles by that smarmy little scumbag. Katie Couric interviewed him this week about doping in cycling. He had the nerve to give her a Bike Pure wristband. He then went on to say something to the effect of "EPO didn't pedal the bike for Lance."
The only time you should ever consult Joe Papp on is if you have a question about what it's like to me an ethically devoid bag of monkey dung.
