Is that a troll?
Btw, welcome to New England!

Alpe d'Huez said:Are we getting to the point where LA is such a non-factor has been that there's only one thread about him, and many of the people coming here say "Lance who?"
After all, the guy never really accomplished anything of substance. What value does he have to cycling?

Dr. Maserati said:Couldn't agree more.
LAs last chance to be relevant in the sport in any way ended yesterday.
If he actually did care he would have agreed to discuss his doping with USADA - instead, he attempted to mitigate his role.
Obviously, he will still be newsworthy - but only as he faces the various court battles ahead. I cannot see anything relevant to cycling that we don't already know - he is just tabloid fodder now.
He doesn't even deserve a thread -any new news can easily be stuck in to a new general news thread, or dump.

MarkvW said:That is a good point. Floyd would have to front litigation expenses, or get his lawyers to do so, in a case that would be expensive to litigate. The lawyers are only going to do this if the risk of losing is outweighed by the potential of a big payday. If the feds do not join, that's one indicator that that the possibility of success is less than optimal.
All qui tam decisions to intervene are made in D.C.
The feds have recently asked to extend the sealed period. Their continued interest indicates, to me, that the matter has not been decided.

But if they don't join, we will mark your post as the beginning of the fanboy jubilee.

BroDeal said:He will starting telling us things like, "If the feds do not join, that's one indicator that that the possibility of success is less than optimal." Despite having no evidence to back that up and completely ignoring the realities of what goes into a decision in any organization.
He pulled the same con with the Birotte decision even though the investigators were all keen to prosecute.
MarkvW said:And I'll mark yours as the beginning of the irrational onslaught.
D-Queued said:The irrational onslaught was begun by Lance the moment anyone suggested that the truth may be exposed.
Dave.

Armstrong is dead meat at this point. Others are more important now.
MarkvW said:That would be true. But we'll still be seeing "itsnotover" on this forum ten years from now.
