NedBraden said:It's interesting how the actual info involves both sides saying some words were had, but certain people on here saying much more happened.
Ferminal said:Where has anyone suggested that it was anything other than an exchange of words?
NedBraden said:I did not say it was more then words, simply that some words were said while other make it seem like more. One example:

Ferminal said:Yes, from the article:
"Armstrong began to berate him."
NedBraden said:Yes and where is the "info" that is claimed in the post I linked? Not in the article. Thus he is making it seem like more then what it was.
Damiano Machiavelli said:That sounds like a fairly accurate early report of the incident. Keep trying. I am sure that you will eventually find something to impress the alternative crowd. You could try a tattoo.
Ferminal said:What info? Even thehog's typical creative extension of events was not far from what actually happened, as described in the article. thehog says they talked, thehog says Lance was critical of Tyler. The article says both these things.
NedBraden said:Well for one, the article presents two versions of what happened. It also says nothing of Armstrong baiting Tyler "about helping him and all he's done for Hamilton." Did I miss the part about the baiting? Could you tell me where that is in the article? Thanks.
Oh, by the way, for the record, I believe Tyler's account, so you can forget the usual "you're an LA fanboy" nonsense that usually comes in right about now.
Ferminal said:The article provides no information on what Armstrong said, only that he "berated him (Tyler)". (Except the "Hey, what's up" which we don't believe).
Berating Tyler could very well consist of "baiting him about all the work Tyler has done". We do not have a complete transcript of the conversation, but both phrases paint a very similar picture of the way the events unfolded.
thehog said:Lance owns Aspen.
NedBraden said:Which is my point. The article doesn't say it, but Hog claims it.
I appreciate you backing up what I said. Now, as a moderator, perhaps you could clean up the off-topic posts and obvious trolling by granville and machiavelli, so that those of us who want to have actually conversation about the topic without argument may do so.
Cimacoppi49 said:All that blah, blah, blah is risky for Lance. Tyler is a definite potential trial witness. Reminding him of all he's done is a very subtle form of intimidation.
Question. Does anyone know if Haven has been subpoenaed to the grand jury? If so, was her new boyfriend her attorney when that occurred? I would think that she and Kristin would have a wealth of relevant information to share with the US Attorney.
Also, has Odessa been before the grand jury?
Maxiton said:Nothing subtle about it. This behavior from Armstrong and the restaurant owner (who possibly tipped off Lance that TH had a reservation) is disgusting. It's a clear case of witness intimidation, and I hope the restaurant owner finds herself sitting in a courtroom, fat subpoena in hand.
mewmewmew13 said:Aspen is small...and Lance is shrewd. Seems like the buzz about all the Outside folks being at the bar would be pretty well known and if he had wanted, LA could easily have avoided being there. ..That doesn't sound like him, though, so can totally seeing him purposely 'bumping into' TH.
...thug that he is..![]()
frenchfry said:Interesting that Lancey-poo was doing the dirty work himself instead of sending one of his paid thugs to intimidate and berate one of his detractors. Is he getting careless? After all, the Simeoni incident didn't help his image much.
