No research on my part is needed - TheHog made the claim that Floyd said others paid the UCI, so it is up to them to substantiate it.

If they don't I will assume it was false or made up.

Thanks, but I will decline your offer of assistance to help research - but I do hope you start doing your own and save everyone the time in correcting your position.

So let me get this straight. You go look up a post from some cat just to show I attributed to a source when it was his own opinion. None if had anything to do with the greater point of making predictions, just to be able to say you got it wrong here where it doesn't matter.

Along comes the the hog and he calls you out and all you say is he has to prove you wrong? He didn't just point out you were wrong he gloated it was his house and you say the burden is on him. I was wrong when I used the term clinic pals, this is like full on omertà. The hog flashes the zip it sign and you fall right back in like a good poster. What's next a pic of you two sharing a drink on a gondola? I have a feeling he will be drinking and you will be rowing.

Doesn't count if it's with your mom.

If a bunch of reasonably intellegent people take in a bunch of information and all but a couple of them come to the same or similar conclusion how large a cross section would you say we need to go from it being a bunch of people caught up in "group think" to a couple of guys who just don't get it?

Does it count if its your mom?

This clinic does not represent a cross section of anything and to label it reasonably intelligent is insane with absolutely no data. Except for a small minority I would say the collective intelligence is below average at best. Stop now before you remove all doubt about the group you're in.

1) I don't care and rich people who play the game always walk. Its really quite easy. If I am a fan or not is immaterial to the facts. You have to remove the emotion and lies to see the facts. This place is full of both.

2) He came on with his groupie comment and I responded. He used the term obsessed himself and I copied him and used it again. You really have to read and think for yourself instead of believing the lies in here.

3) I have nothing to cover, you will be one of the ones gnashing your teeth if he walks. If he goes to jail I will be wrong, if he walks see how many in the clinic can admit they were. Your post was deleted because it was blatant trolling, imagine that. See just because you disagree does not make me a troll.

4) When you or anybody uses the term fanboy I win. While you are actually doing the trolling it proves you have nothing. Especially from somebody who flip flops all the time on dopers and has absolutely no basis at all. I have taken the same stance all along, he will walk.

It seems that 'if you are a fan or not' is extremely material here to you. There is a lot of your posting that is striving to prove that you are not a 'fan' but then you seem to change modes.

I also see a statement that says you must remove the emotion, but in the very next argument you state that you responded to a 'groupie' comment. Why does it matter what you are called if you are removing emotion...let it go.

What I don't understand is the use of the term 'fanboy' --which is simply a fabricated noun--becoming a deciding factor whether someone 'wins' or not. This all sounds pretty immature.

Sorry but I must be missing your points in most of your posts. It appears only to be a form of game-playing with you to announce that you are consistent in predicting the 'walk' outcome while trying to catch inconsistencies in others' posts.
meh.

Actually, the reason I checked Ciamocoppis post was because you highlighted that he may have been making stuff up previously - which would seriously undermine his new post.

I went back, checked it and pointed out that you were wrong.

TheHog didn't call me out (on what?) - they are the one to make the claim that Floyd has stated that others paid off the UCI, it is the first I have heard of that.

So, it is up to them to show that - otherwise I will hold my opinion that there info is false or made up.

The only difference between you and TheHog is that they appear to have bowed out while you keep continuing to argue, even when your position has been pointed out as inaccurate.

meh.

I think if you read through with an open mind you will understand, not accepting what is written at face value. What you will see is a group of LA type bullies all protecting the myth they have built in the clinic. There is the clinic truth, Lance's truth and somewhere is the actual truth.

The point of fanboy is that only the utterly defeated with no argument troll it out, like its going to hurt me.

You really can't spend to much time trying to figure out what the greater meaning is behind an anonymous message board effected by groupthink.

Yes, at times there is game playing. Quite a bit of it in fact. This is supposed to be fun and educational don't forget, not all selective dopers suck.

Thanks for your post.

He said you were incorrect and even offered some proof statement of facts. You were unable to prove him wrong or more likely obeyed the "zip it" sign as you were in his house.

Catch up with you tomorrow doc. Tighten up its been a rough couple of days.

Well, I do read through these posts with an open mind. I do more on this forum than just exist in angst over the clinic.

It seems you are spending too much effort vociferously protesting that the 'groupthink' or whatever is not going to hurt you or do you in...but then along those lines why bother to even come to the clinic if you are convinced that there is a conspiracy bunch.

I like people's opinions and I find a lot of interesting facts and info here too. I take some with a grain of salt and ponder on some of the other pieces...

I am against doping but am also aware of the reality in the sport...it sucks but I'm still an optimist---and I love cycling. Trolling seems to be a sport of a few around here...too bad.

Fixed it for you...sorry am an old nitpicking ex-editor. :)

Huh, I tried to run this through google translator but it doesn't do gibberish to English.

You probably couldn't keep up with my mom.

All I know is the average intellegence around here goes up by 20% every time you log out.

Think the mods should start a dedicated thread and do a mass postings transfer to:

It looks like it may be time to once again get the ban hammer out, seeing as some folks around here don't understand the rules about not insulting, baiting or trolling.

It is going to be hard for Lance to prove that the WitchHunt/SmearCampaign
has hurt the LiveStrong Mission.
Because it hasn't hurt at all.
Going like gangbusters.

Check out LiveStrong.org and Cyclingnews.com
Both saw mucho increased traffic during July:
http://siteanalytics.compete.com/cyclingnews.com+livestrong.org/

And in the deep end of the pool where the Big Boys hang out, LiveStrong.com kicked SportsIllustrated's keester and is closing the gap on the king of capitalism Wall Street Journal booyah.

Gangbusters, right...

Which one is about awareness and the global fight against cancer? Which one lines Armstrong's pockets and which one assists those stricken with cancer? Which one is on this "mission" you speak of?

I will grant you, livestrong.org is up over 300% for the month. A big number until you factor in that the number started at les than 100,000 visitors a month...for what we keep getting told is THE premier source for cancer survivor unformation on the internet. By comparison, to that nearly 6,000,000 number for the .com, .org was enjoying about 2% of the traffic at .com. Frankly, .org has had blips before, but always ends up back at that pitiful 100K level (it was at a whopping 45K in April).

Thanks for the site link though.

The American Cancer Society should fire their super awesome, excellent spokes bro right away! Down 1%. Bogus!

What, they don't have a paid spokes Broseph? And they still maintain TWICE the internet site traffic as livestrong.org. Even after a three-fold monthly increase?

Where the **** is Levi?

I think even Cavendish could make it over that livestrong.org hill at the end.

It also looks like livestrong.com's stats have been inflated by people searching for "sizes of orange julius." In other news Dr. Ferrari was quoted as saying that EPO is no more dangerous than a large Orange Julius.

Polish, you are more than aware that Livestrong.Com is now owned by Demand Media after equally and questionably super compensating Lance Armstrong (and his company) and Livestrong.Org for the acquisition of Livestrong.Com and the sub licensing rights to "Livestrong".

Demand Media has come in for criticism for its business model and accounting practices. The latter was subject to a government investigation resulting in an amended IPO being filed substantially slashing the super profit that Armstrong would have obtained if he exercised his Demand Media warrants and sold on listing.

Demand Media dupes internet searchers by loading up their websites, eg. Livestrong.com, with high numbers of low quality content articles and videos. Searchers visiting Livestrong.com may have no interest in Lance Armstrong, cancer or "Livestrong" but may have been deceived to that site.

Hence the high numbers for Livestrong.com that did not translate into high numbers for Livestrong.org as most surfers would soon realise they have been duped into visiting com.

Given Demand Media's dubious practices no credibility can be given to the traffic generated to any Demand Media site.

I hope the Google boys are leaving no stone unturned, in making a "Translate" button for videos. ;)

Either that, or the Germans finally start understanding that voiceovers and dubbing is really passé, and that subtitles are the future.

I did recognize a few words though: Dhoping and Grund Zjury. :)

Yeah, nothing new in that clip, only that at the beginning of the clip you see footage of LA recently being on a talkshow somewhere in Texas, where he 'addresses' the accusations (i.e. once more pretends that it doesn't affect him personally, though admitting that it's negative publicity).

Video is definitely worth a look.

Even the Master of Disaster made a brief appearance.

Betsy says "now it is time for Lance to tell the truth"

I can only guess how MiracleBoy would reply to that.

..."never tested positive, never tested positive, never tested positive, never tested positive, never tested positive, never tested positive, never tested positive, "

..."Busted my a$$ for 7 hours a day, 7 hours a day, 7 hours a day, 7 hours a day, 7 hours a day, 7 hours a day, 7 hours a day, 7 hours a day, 7 hours a day, "
.
lots of cheers here
