My gut tells me that Kristin knows quite a bit and sold her soul to provide for her kids. She will not sell anything if it implicates her in a conspiracy or means her being tried for perjury, unless she is a totally clueless, bimbo in love.

If the bio on her is believable she was a PR industry person who married a promotional dream. She endured his pre-cancer personality and stood beside him until he began his return to the limelight and apparently, if Lance is believable; to have served as a manager of sorts. If all of that was true and he decided she was maritally expendable the odds are she would do the smart business thing.
Right now that would be grab for immunity and preserve the cash you have.

I thought their flirtation began before and she endured his recovery. Is that correct? Their marriage may have been after...
No, because then she'd have been the girlfriend that was in the hospital room with the Andreus......

From wiki I got this, which confirms what I remember from his book that he met her after cancer.

Armstrong met Kristin Richard in June 1997. They married on May 1, 1998 and had three children: Luke David, born October 1999, and twins Isabelle Rose and Grace Elisabeth, born November 2001. The pregnancy was possible through sperm Armstrong banked three years earlier, prior to chemotherapy and surgery

So long as you realize that statement is only true inside your own mind!

In the real world, things like "willfulness," "beyond a reasonable doubt," and "a jury of your peers" stand between such grandiose musings and their actualization.

So are you agreeing that there was a fraud committed, but LA wasn't complicit? I suppose that will be his only possible defense. Doubt it will work. I can hear it now. LA- "Seriously officer, I had no clue what was going on. I am too stupid to orchastrate such a complex scam. College did it."

No. Wonderboy was dating Lisa Shiels. She stood by him through the whole cancer treatment.....and then he met Kristen and Lisa was pushed out the door for the new Mom Clone.

Kristen found out how Lisa felt a few years later.

This is about tax crimes.

Has Lisa ever commented publicly about her time with then the complete man?

Oedipus Tex is pretty easy to predict in things such as this.

When the first stories of the Hospital room started making the rounds Tim Herman contacted her to remind her of their non-disclosure agreement. She has been quite ever since....except when under oath of course

And somehow she didn't testify in the SCA case. I wondered if she was called before the grand jury. Unless, that's what's meant here:

Shouldn't there be some sort of monument, or a moment of silence on the occasion of the Lance Armstrong thread reaching page 666?

Oedipus Tex, unlike Satan, doesn't have the power to charm. He's just an ordinary egoist.

I don't think he can even play the violin.

Sure he's capable. You've got to be pretty far gone to lack the capacity to commit a crime.

subtext: anyone who follows the law is a pussy. All hail Lance 'John Galt' Armstrong.

Here's one I haven't heard before-Alex Gibney, the award-winning documentary film maker, had access to Armstrong during his 2009 Tour return and planned on releasing a film about him soon.

He is postponing the documentary in lieu of the pending legal issues Armstrong is facing because whatever charges are proven against him would change the focus of the narrative. Gibney spoke about this briefly on ESPN's "The B.S. Report" this past Monday.

Gibney is a great film maker. The movie is finished, and it is not all flattering. I expect the charges to change the final cut

I just want to know one thing.
When you read 'spestsas' post, did you bang your fist on the computer desk and shout at the computer "Objection"?

LawyerLand is not in the real world.

It seems, if all is to be believed, their has been a LOT of people testifying about Armstrong doping. If this is true, purely on the doping front, how would Armstrong be able to deny that he ever doped? Serious question. Disregarding all the other legal issues, if many more teammates such as Hincapie have implicated him, how could he realistically deny he doped? I can't see how he can, but going off his legal fees, he obviously is ready to fight.
