So where is this article?
I'm interested because it would be the first time anyone in authority has mentioned the Armstrong case for months and months. It would confirm that the case hasn't been quietly dropped (which is my suspicion).
your opinion introduces a level of reason that many cannot accept. The case can be dropped not because Armstrong is innocent of everything accused but because the things they have mounds of evidence on are trivial.
Yes Lance did things wrong, along with decades of other pro bike racers, but is there anything that would make the US government spend 10s of millions on convicting him and only him of an offense.
Novitzky is probably drowning in data that shows that endurance athletes all over have done some crazy sh-t to win races. He is probably finding that athletes all over are way dirtier than Armstrong and that his case is not anywhere near the worst but is the most salacious.
Who did Landis, Andreu and Hamilton buy their drugs from? There is a reason for the lack of interest, and it is certainly not that the dope they used couldn't hurt the young and unknowing. The offenses they committed were completed between the lowest tiers of society. Armstrong has upped the interest and the notoriety of drugs on bikes, without him nobody in the US gives a f-ck about Landis, Hamilton or bike racing in general. Armstrong's connection to everything off the bike has money being spent on a story.
Lance's drug use would have been ignored like the 100's of bike racers before him but he went and got famous. Greg tried that I have been shot and I can't get up thing, but nothing gets the worlds attention like cutting off a ball. Good try Greg
