This past Monday night Spike TV had a "1000 Ways to Die" Marathon. One of the episodes included an aspiring amateur cyclist named Floyd who they showed injecting himself with EPO and sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber bed.
Floyd had a neglected pet dog, I kid you not, named Lance. Well in the end Lance the dog wins. I wonder if Fabini wrote the script for that one. Classic TV which I'm sure will be rerun many times.

One tactic of the myth machine is to attack the messenger. Just like there was an organized campaign to smear LeMond, Frankie and Betsy, Mike Anderson, Simeoni, Landis, Tyler, etc, there will be an organized campaign directed at the Feds an WADA.

They have already issued multiple absurd press statements on Jeff. Expect every case prosecuted by Doug Miller to be picked apart in an effort to pretend Lance will escape prosecution. It is a sign of desperation.

Did you read their complaint about supposed "Leaks" where they implied that Jeff was the source of the leaks in the BALCO case.....when it actually came from defense lawyers?

Thanks! A link! And be careful of calling pedantic concerns "trivial" in this thread - some folks may object to that. And thank you for pointing out that my concern was extreme. It truly was extreme and now I can sleep at night.

Armstrong is going to have his criminal defense team monitoring this meeting. There will be interesting spin afterwards attacking Novitsky regardless of what he says. Too bad there isn't a video feed of the meeting.

Simeoni, Landis, Andreu,Hamilton are not all admitted dopers? Man was I off I thought,
Landis wrote a book, and went to court multiple times saying he didn't only later, when out of money and goodwill ,said he lied and really did dope. Then changed hats and became an expert and keynote speaker on the subject. Went from I didn't do it, to I know everything about it. And all that, from going to bed with one outlook and waking up w a dream of making everything "right".

Simeoni, went to court to say what he used and who he got it from. And yes I was wrong that during his career filled with arguments, protests, tributes, feuds he did win 2 stages at the Vuelta

Hamilton, said he didn't dope and before his B sample was found to be mishandled . He never changed his tune until he was out of cash. Now not only did he do it , he want everybody to know who was at the shooting gallery while he shot up. Also worked for Michael Ball

Andreu admitted his doping multiple times for newspapers and magazines. He later went on to show his deep resolve for anti doping by going to work for Micheal Ball.

All these guys have said they have used, Lance has not. Lance may also be compelled by his conscious or a court but until then, there are piles of stuff that make it look like he doped.
Like Tyler and Frankie many years went by before they thought it was best to discuss their drug use in detail. Because Armstrong just retired and there is a great deal more pressure on him , even if he follows a similar timeline about doping discussions he has years before he will find the right time.
