And nonsense passes through the first two stages!
The Hog: Stage 2.

Also another stage.
Armstrong's name and fame could help Novitzky's cause. He has found things he believes are criminal. If it turns out that Lance is not smart enough to head up anything, as he has shown, his figurehead status may be maintained and big Jeff will go after people with the intelligence, income and opportunity to commit a widespread fraud for enormous amounts of money.

Armstrong is only major in name, his role is going to be minor

All truth passes through three stages:

First it is ridiculed.
Second it is violently opposed.
And third it is accepted as self-evident.

Wise words for the Clinic, Hog.
Especially wise words for this thread:)

Someday the ridicule and violent opposition will cease
Everyone will realize Lance was the most awesome TdF rider ever.
It's true.
We will NEVER see onetwothreefourfivesixseven in a row ever again.
Truth.

But seeing the TRUTH takes time for some.
Others have known the truth for awhile.
Its ok. Everyone at their own pace.

You raise a good point - how will history judge Armstrong? Legal issues aside I think he may have fallen it to the worst category of all: irrelevancey. Neither hate or love just ignominy.

Most just forget or pretend he never happened. That's must be painful for the man. At least with hate you're being thought about but when you become totally irrelevant and no one cares who are or what you do that's a horrible place to be

Thats clearly the hardest evidence for fatandfast not beeing a fanboy. :D
A fanboy, at least members of division Lance, would never go full *** on Greg.
That would be on the level of calling Lance the c...ca..ca..ca...can....., no I can't say it. Low level.

But thehog complaining about bad taste really made me laugh.

Who gives a *** about bad taste? - it just wasnt funny & proves my point in regards to irrelevancy. Verstehen, ja?

It funny how every time Lance gets proven to be a complete tosser you guys come back with "but LeMond is a loser"! - like I care - is not a nerd race between Armstrong & LeMond. What's LeMond got to do with anything?

Excellent post, thehog.

I remember when someone posted that LA would be extradited from France during the 2010 Tour.

First, the post was ridiculed. It was merciless ridicule.

Second, the post was violently opposed. The deniers hoped to prop up their weak position by pointing out nitpicking details such as... no charges filed, no request for extradition, extradition (depending on the country) can take years, etc.

Third..... uh, what was the third thing?

P.S. Please cite Schopenhauer when you are quoting him. Thank you.

Greg LeMond.

....and nice edit 30 mins later to add the final line. Do you really think about what I write for that long?

I must really get on your t1ts. Good.

Actually, Cal_Joe, it was NOT ridiculed.
Many people agreed with The Hog.
Check out this thread from pre-Tour 2010:

Looks like Deagol got it right...

Hmmm... no discussion of extradition in that thread. Using the forum search tools I cannot find the magnificent prognostication post about extradition. Perhaps someone got a wee bit embarrassed and deleted it. Or maybe I just made it up. The latter would be very sad, as then I would be member of that exclusive forum group that excels in extracting Nostradamus type predictions from their southernmost orifice.

It's ok. It's not your fault.

I understand the psychology here. I know why you hate me so much & think at about me so much. It's because you know I'm right.

I know that when Armstrong is (offically) proven not only a doper but a liar it will make you feel stupid. Stupid for believing in him, stupid for defending him.

It's ok. It's not your fault. Lance ran a good game of deception. It was easy to buy into and believe.

Chasing me down, trying to prove Im wrong is not going to resolve the internal conflict within you. I suggest you go find the truth. Find out on your own - see what you find and let us all know what you discover through your journey. The more you post here the stupid you're looking. I actually don't want that.

No one is telling you what to believe. Its just you resisting against all thought of Armstrong doping. Go find out on your own. You may surprise yourself and what you discover. You never know it may resolve the conflict within you?

Good luck! Hope to hear of brightness upon your return.

As usual, you continue to just make things up to spew out of that orifice. "Resisting against all thought of Armstrong doping" ??? Not in any of my posts, but if you want to make that up, nobody (and I mean absolutely nobody) here will be surprised. Even the mods mock you for making things up.

And that has to be the worst Dr. Phil impression I have ever read. Whatever you paid in tuition for your psychology degree was money flushed down the toilet. You may want to think about asking for a refund.

Oh, excellent post, theHog. Almost forgot that part.

Cal_Joe,

It appears to be the perfect opportunity for you to clarify your rational thoughts on the undeniable issue that Lance doped, cheated, financially prospered and lied(s) in professional cycling and oncological philanthropic realms.

pull the pin and tell us.

Just finished David Walsh's book 'From Lance to Landis'

I cant see how their going to pin down Lance on any of the points made. Unfortunately I think the horse is bolted and corporate America stands to lose too much money from Lance being found guilty in any investigation.

The likes of Nike, Oakley and trek just aint gonna let that happen.

Well, fortunately, it's not up to them.

Not to mention that the "points made" in the book are only a fraction of the points that the feds are concerning themselves with.

Oh, and since the release of the book we've had eyewitness testimony. Does that count?
