I will likely be about how Floyd gave his password out to a bunch of people, resulting in 72 hour tweet a thons. Certainly made people think he was crazy but he was not writing most of those.

Hats off to the "bunch of people" who were impersonating Floyd:)
Very realistic lol.
A bit homophobic and retardphobic, but at least no weener pics:eek:

But was it actually Floyd who was promoting Outside Mag in the tweets?

Or maybe he gave his password to the editor GraysonSchaffer?
Good Marketing if so. Good promo.
Almost as good as creating a ruckus at cache cache by harrassing the regular customers lol.
That was a good promo too.

Or maybe this Floyd/Outside article about Lance was just another random occurence.
Has happened before you know.

No, most of it was him. You can tell when it's his style. This is undoubtedly the defense though.

If you haven't been be able to discern that most of his communications, including many of the early emails that were released, were coming from multiple sources...well, then you'll need to consult Jan Ulrich for the appropriate response.

I'm refering to the twitter accounts. His humor and style are particular to him.

Lets not get away from the fact a big part of the joke is we were not supposed to know if it was him. This is now being turned into "you were stupid to think it was him".

Armstrong sussed him straight away.

Hi BPC - you may have missed this in the linked article, was he talking about you?

Landis believes Armstrong is engaged in his own campaign of online disinformation, and Landis hopes to expose Armstrong’s hypocrisy. “I’m out to demonstrate how few people understand how easy it is to manipulate perception using the Internet,” he told Outside in an e-mail. In particular, Landis believes Armstrong’s camp is engaged in a concerted effort to buoy the seven-time Tour de France winner’s image—which has been tainted by increasingly frequent doping allegations—by routinely posting prescripted pro-Lance comments beneath online stories about Armstrong, a claim Armstrong flatly denies.

Floyd will be happy you confirmed his point.

BPC or not (just kidding we know who this is) I'm glad for the article because that is one sweet photo of floyd at the top. I can't believe I missed that one through the years.

That’s the high-minded explanation, anyway. Down on the low road, it’s obvious that @GreyManrod—a handle Landis says he shares with about ten other people—simply likes giving Armstrong a hard time.

I don't see how a campaign of harassment against Armstrong proves any point.

Wait a sec.

I thought the Outside Magazine guys were the orchestrators of the Armstrong setup in Aspen.

The guys on here who regularly profess to be much smarter (and infinitely wittier) than the rest of us, assured us that Outside had set up the bogus meal at Cache Cache, had deliberately dangled Hamilton as bait, and had laid in wait until hamilton was able to lure Armstrong outside (the point at which their nefarious plan went south).

Now the devious SOB's come out with what appears to be a rather well-balanced and even pro-Armstrong (or anti-Floyd depending on your POV) article.

Damn those Outside guys are slippery...

You would if you had a mirror near by - Floyd was saying how Armstrong uses the social media to 'manipulate perception'.

You have yet again proved him correct.

And how does organizing a campaign of constant abuse and harassment prove this point? Where is the evidence? As the article states, it seems like some waffle to justify giving Armstrong abuse.

Please do not use the term "true" in a username.
It alwas makes me think of Manowar and I just can´t take those guys seriously.

It's what a lot of people keenly say during July to seperate themselves from the masses and people like LiveStrong. That's what it is mocking.

Can you point out this "constant abuse" that you refer to.

Also, he did not organize a campaign, he set up a joke twitter account for a 'law firm' (which actually was done because the UCI had threatened to sue him).

This was one of the worst kept secrets in the history of worst kept secrets. My favorite line was “Twitter is a public forum,” Armstrong told Outside in an e-mail. “Using it to publicly and intentionally attack and humiliate people of diverse backgrounds is offensive to me and many others.”

The ball on that guy! This is the guy who just posted the private website of someone he hates on his twitter. One thing I know for sure about the Gunderson, he might be able to ride a bike pretty good, but his sense of irony is lanterne rouge.

Blah, blah, blah...

And Armstrong was still given the heads-up by Larner that Hamilton was at the restaurant, and Armstrong still went inside and changed the odds of an encounter from absolutely zero to about 100%.
