But you must admit, MarkvW, that all these INCORRECT predictions made by so many of the haters over the last year or so have been VERY entertaining.
Some are Precious. Some are Classics. All Entertaining.

But the arrest will come someday.
And then we will have the next stage.
The I TOLD YOU SO stage.
I told you so! I told you so! I told you so!
D-Queued, thehog, Dr. Maserati, Race Radio, Granville57, Benotti69, Cimacoppi49, MacRoadie, sniper, Thoughtforfood, JMBeaushrimp, python, Moose McKnuckles, Hugh Januss, Berzin and mewmewmewkitty.
I told you so! I told you so! I told you so!

Dont get me wrong - the "I told you so" stage will be highly entertaining too.
Its just that it will not last very long.
The Haterz Evil Laughter will peter out all too quickly sad face.

Looks like Armstrong's attorneys have sat him down for a tongue lashing post Tyler/Aspen.
He's tweeting only the Livestrong, thanks troops, July 4th, TdF congrats lines. He's being a good boy now for Fabiani. Will it last to the end of the Tour??

He's probably not getting the VIP hospitality tent access he'd hoped to enjoy. That would make it difficult to create a scene when nobody cares about you anymore, Except Anheuser-Busch who keep running those stupid Ultra ads.

"One of the things I've had to do with athletes is say, 'OK, you want to be in a sport. Who do you want to look up to?'," said Thordarson, who has kicked several riders off his teams for cheating. "When Lance came along, everyone thought he was going to die of cancer, then he turns around and wins the Tour de France. Lots of kids gravitated to following Lance because everyone looked up to Lance."

When the allegations surrounding Armstrong began to grow, Thordarson saw the effects.

"That shadow of doubt falls over these kids," he said. "They were wearing those Livestrong bracelets; they're not wearing them anymore."

Nor is the Oncologist that gave my Dad one quality year of life before he passed away this year. In fact; I didn't notice any yellow bracelets on the ward during our last visit.

Who got cheated?

Has anybody made a list of riders that had the potential to be a GC winner during the LA years but couldn't win because they were "clean". It appears that any rider who now excels is immediately tagged as a doper.

It seems that the major contenders during that period were all suspect, so who got cheated?

I know that the vitriol poured out against LA is what most posters on here enjoy, but it just may not be that justified. He may be an A'hole but he certainly did not cheat Ullrich, Pantani, Hamilton etc. so why do you rant so much?

Were they getting preferential treatment from the UCI as well? Or how about cosy 1 to 1s with the head of doping labs?

nobody's ranting, except for a good number of fanboys and apologists (please don't feel addressed), who've created this fictive imaginary class of "haters" for them to rant at.

you show me a clean professional sport, and i'll show you a sport that hasn't put in place a system of proper doping controls.

It’s why Lance Armstrong’s repeated denials have looked so ridiculous.

He says he has never failed a drug test, but a steady line of former teammates, competitors and investigative journalists has accused him of cheating. You can choose to believe that everyone is jealous of his success, as he insists, or you can believe that too many people have come forward for it to be fiction. Armstrong carries a thick shield: Livestrong, his cancer-fighting foundation. It has raised millions of dollars for cancer research and support. If you criticize Lance Armstrong, champion cyclist and cancer survivor, you criticize the fight against the disease. Genius. Never mind the discussion of whether his testicular cancer might have been caused by PED use.

LOL !

LOL !

Does ANYONE outside of cycling and his sycophantic army take him seriously anymore?

Well, it's the lying AND the cheating. Change the rules and allow doping, be transparent about it, smile to the camera as you inject your own blood, teach the young you cannot win without performance enhancement, teach them you will only get rich if you can afford a better performance enhancement than everyone else, and once you get the cycling world to do all of this i will stop ranting.

The level playing field never existed.

Give us the list of riders who gave the UCI $500,000 "Donations", got advanced notice of "Surprise" testing, positive tests erased, and had access to experimental drugs

Thanks

The number has always been $500,000. That is what Lance told Julien, Tyler, and Floyd and what Sylvia Shenck said it was. It is only Armstrong and Verburggen who cannot agree on the number, they have said many amounts that range from $25k to $125k

Race, the number depends on whether you are quoting an anonymous Swiss bank acct, or the transfer to UCI?

Which one?

I have always seen the 25k and then the 100k. Lance lies about everything ffs. I believe it could be 500k but I also believe LA would lie to sound more important than he was. Whatever, if it $1 or 1MM its a bribe.

I think he's taken more seriously by people with superficial at best interest in cycling than people who are more into the sport.

I probably should have said "believe him" rather than "take him seriously"...

I was trying to be generous to the weekend warriors clad head-to-toe in Livestrong or RadioShack kits, tooling around on their 3rd Madone by including them in "cycling" (in other words "people with superficial at best interest in cycling"). Obviously, those more knowledgeable or "serious" about cycling don't hold him in the same esteem.
