I do have a comment on your "Lance was as clean as anyone" in that era.
There were riders that WERE cleaner than Lance, BUT the fact remains that Lance was cleaner than many others. Many others were dirtier than Lance. Many many many were dirtier. Even some of his own team mates were dirtier. USPS team mates that were doping at the 1997 and 1998 TdF's. White Lunch Bags etc. Before Lance and Bruyneel even arrived. Another team mate had his "own people" in 2009 and 2010.

And the fact remains that Lance made efforts to clean up the sport of cycling after the EPO Era winded down in 2001. Where is the evidence of Lance doping in 2004 and 2005? The evidence shows the opposite. The evidence indicates that Lance was breaking omerta. Raising the flag Pre-Puerto. Making donations to the UCI for Sysmex Test Equipment. The hard evidence shows it.

RAI1942, be careful not to be sucked into the pretend world where the "Lance Investigation will last a Decade or more lol. There comes a time when you have to let it go.

Never thought that merely spewing something as 'fact' excused anyone on this forum from backing it up.
..and I guess that from now on one needs only to reference 'Wiki' for all future claims.

You just don't get it. It is important that Lance's TdF wins are "taken away" and awarded to his innocent victims: Zülle, Klöden, Beloki, Basso, and Ullrich. If those poor victims ever doped, it was only because Lance made them do it.

Not the Tour wins...just a very public apology from Mr. Burke. Probbaly won't happen though. Unfortunately, I don't think that convicted felons are allowed to use the press from penal institutions.

Nope. The best indicator is that until this week there were no posts in the Nowitzky Investigation links thread. The last bubbling was Lance's to-do over claimed leaks.

To further save costs they have cobbled together a judge, jury and executioners from clinic members only.

Velodude is the chief prosecutor, ably supported by Thoughtforfood.

I could never be a juror. I have known pro cyclists and people in the business all have used drugs and or have known of drug use. I find Armstrong"s stance silly but legally defensible.
Armstrong used rugs but he will not be accused of that, the races and the UCI have already determined that he did not. I posted before about many who have him going down in flames for tax impropriety and I recently saw an HBO show that has people accused of the same thing but the numbers were in the billions vs millions in fraud money that Pharmstrong is to have swindled. His crimes are petty at best, and all the witnesses and people involved will look very small on the criminal scale if they go to court
