I have to say, Pelizotti in that KOM is just a total color clash between the red and white polka dot, and that lime green.

Yeah . . . but it's old school!:)

. . . and while it isn't perfect, it's better than wearing the whole polka-dot kit for myself. It just looks cartoonish.

Another dupee? it never ends.
Since you just registered, please troll through the many other threads on this forum and see how much trolling exists here. You may be suprised.

Now you see what its like to have a single digit poster come in and talk junk? It is annoying as hell isn't it? I will give you this, you stick in here every day posting whereas most Lance's fans either start and leave quickly, or only show themselves when there is something they can crow about. You have posted no matter what. Props to you.

Looks like Sastre should have prepared for the Tour this year instead of his escapades in Italy. He clearly doesn't have it this year.

Yea I know, I am just talkn smack cause Lance surprised everyone, even me. I dont get that many chances so I had to take advantage.

That does look cartoonish.

Old school? Now, old school would be solid black shorts!

Verbier - 8.8 km climb at 7.5 %

Col de Romme - 8.8 km climb at 8.9 %
Col de la Colombière - 7.5 km climb at 8.5 %

Ventoux - 21.1 km climb at 7.6%

From the official Tour website

Ah, I checked and see today was only 5-6%. Not sure why Andy then even bothered to attack; and maybe he wasn't satisfied with size of gap once he got it. Still surprises me why he kept looking back.

Maybe we're smarter than he is, LOL :D

Must have been more of a test than a fully committed attack to win, then.

Edit: I see also that where he attacked to win in Liege-Bastogne, it was 9.9% for 1.5 km, ie. steep.

I haven't gotten to this in all of my Lance bashing, but I hope Jens is OK. It sucks to have him go down. One of my favorite riders in the peloton. Schlecklet looked pretty bummed in his interview about it. Sounds like he may be OK other than the harsh road rash he will obviously have. That looked like a cheese grater road surface. Nasty crash that one.

The way he went down looked like he might have broken a collar bone.

An awful, awful crash for Jens. Heli'd to hospital.
Today was a phoney war and Saxo will miss his engine tomorrow.
A pity there appears to little room for sympathy here, but a surplus of childish baiting.

Any news on his condition would be appreciated.

I guess? I am truly disgusted at the incredible amount of disrespect they have shown everyone else in the Tour. It makes me want to puke.
Didnt catch Bobke, but I am constantly appalled at Phil's obvious blunders. Sastre clearly bridged back to the peloton (shown on the tube) yet Phil continues to claim he is off the back.

I'll second that.

The forum often reminds me of 4th grade.

Harman is always making similar mistakes. He couldn't see Armstrong in the Yellow Jersey group at the end of the stage, but then complained that he can't see his monitor for the sun. Can Eurosport afford a cardboard box so he can make some kind of shade for the screen?

Said something similar in another thread (and I know versus is american), but the lack of objective coverage is appaling. I also think the commentators get paid by the number of times they say "Lance Armstrong" and not per hour!

I actually missed it, and only caught the last second of the replay...f*ck knows how I managed that....obviously heard all about it and will not be able to avoid seeing it tonight. I honestly think that every true fan has a soft spot for Jens. He's one of a kind. I hope the damages are as light as possible - no doubt we'll get more news in the coming hours.

Also surprised to see how few props today's winner has gotten here.
