Totals and rates are two different things. The Boeings have been around in volume decades longer than the airbus planes.

In any case, both are much safer than a day on the bike.

I think that is on a public broadcasting station here, but I have never watched it. Or maybe it was BBC America, I forget which, but I am pretty sure I have seen it listed somewhere.
