I would be surprised to see EBH able to join a move like that

No problem, W would pull back a fresh Canc even he has been pulling for 220 k, no problem at all.

As opposed to smart man Cancellara who will probably rely on his sprint like in Copenhagen. ;)
Jesus Christ, you can't let even one mention of Gilbert slide, can you?

It's pretty obvious the only reason he's doing this so far from the finsih is that he doesn't have the form.

Yes, because attacking pointlessly, when you know you'll be brought back, is very smart. But I'm sure you knew better than him.

Sky have managed to ride 2/3 of the peloton off their wheel with 4 men taken leads at the front, without Cavendish ever out of the top 10. lol. how come I feel that there could be a signficant national embarressment coming for GB?

Go back to the clinic

Lol, Phil just said he's seen club riders walk up box hill. Doesn't say much for English Cycling Clubs

I've never seen anyone walk up, I once took the newbie run out and there was a guy who'd been cycling for a few months was 300lbs and he made it up in around 14 minutes - I was doing under 100watts to sit next to him, and he was working bloody hard - but he never had to walk.

Eisel and Urán sicken me
Screw Olympic spirit, apparently. They're riding for Sky.

I mean I don't give a toss about the olympics and this disgusts even me. Those two should go hang their heads in a hole.

despicable if that is the case. Maybe they get some pressure from management.

They publicly admitted they were riding for GB today.
I'll end my posts on that subject with this: This shows exactly what regard Sky have for fair play and not cheating: none. Make of that what you will.

He's an embarrassment to cycling... I wish he would ride with some of my club mates for a nice climb of Ditchling Beacon .

It's obvious Boonen is the leader lol. What's Phil going to do, wait for a sprint?

According to Amandine Thomas-Commin, Urán told him he was riding for Sky and Eisel told Austrian journalists he was too.

Pat McQuaid explains and are very pleased with the chain of events that has rolled out in front of us during the last months since Paris-Nice (with Sky never losing in front since then).

Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish, both riding for the Sky team and representing Great Britain will be race’s centre of attention as Cavendish seeks to add an Olympic title to his impressive palmares.
"It would be great if it happened because it's another edition to this fairy-tale story," McQuaid told The Associated Press. "It would be great for cycling and great for the Olympic Games."
According to Pat McQuaid, crowds are set to flood the streets of London for the 250km race. This is in part due to the favourable circumstances that have led into the London Games. Cavendish also won the Olympic test event in London last year and McQuaid believes the popularity of cycling in Great Britain will be evident come race day.
"There will probably be the biggest crowd ever seen at an Olympic Games . I’m predicting something close to a million people could be on the roadside," he said in an official UCI release.'

And soon Froome will have a serious shot at the Vuelta.

Gosh does those idiots even know what OLYMPIC is about? Guess they just want money from SKY.

Get over it guys. It's as old as the sport itself and goes all the way back to when the Tour teams were nationality based. Alliances were always formed based on the trade teams they rode for the rest of season. Nothing new here.
