Currently in the midst of a lazy week at the most beautiful place in the world -- the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Do I really have to come back to German and work in 10 days?

Susan

North Carolina used to be my annual cycling vacation spot for 3 years straight, specifically the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Roan, Iron Mtn and Mt. Mitchell. We used to do a tour there, I think it was the Burnsville Metric, at the end of every April. Good times and excellent riding area.:)

A little work done for the garden. Brick walkway going in. Also a spot for a bbq. Cant put it on the deck the wind would blow all the smoke in through the front door. Just going to grow some herbs, tomatoes and red leaf lettuce. Hope to plant a lemon tree and avocado tree this spring also.

Work on the brick walkway has ceased until I can buy cement next week. However work has started on the flowerbed in front of the house

I couldn't afford the property tax on a house like this in the US:eek:
I paid $100,000USD. 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1200sq ft house, 14,000sq ft lot. My property taxes are $122USD a year. I'm living on a small pension and disability about $1400USD a month. You can see I eat well. Prices are about 25-45% percent cheaper here than the US. a place like this in the US this close to the beach could be easy $800,000-$1,000,000

My other great hobby outside of cycling is football, Im actually about to get my first 'real' bike. :) Im actually still studying International Business and Languages in Rotterdam, learning German, English and Spanish.

Regarding age, when I'm reading this forum it really gives me the creeps that I'm having a 90% chance of being the or if not one of the youngest member(s) on this forum with my 17 years of age.

I thought that too.

From what i remember about peoples ages,

Ruben (Dekker Tifosi) is young enough to win white jersey at the Tour de France this year and i think next year
Moondance is from 1988.
El Pistolero is 19 y.o.
Michael veedeebee is 18.
The Youngest is in his 20's though i think later ones/
hrotha said he was 11 when Indurain won his second Tour.
Jamsque seems to be significantly younger than Freire,
Craig 1985 speaks for itself.
ACF was born on the 94th day of the year, but around the same year as Craig.
Parrulo is a student somewhere.
Ryaguas is 23 or some such i think.

And me, well i was still a teenager when i joined this forum.

So you are one of the youngest. But I think Eric3A is younger than you

Haha, so this forum isnt all filled up with grandpa's and grandma's (no offense obviously :D). Im almost 18 though, just two more months of being a adolescent.

Didnt expect you to be around 20 though Hitch, I expected you to be a few years older. I have never seen Eric3A post here (my bad if I did see you but I forgot!), but I knew that I would be one of the youngest. :)

Woops. Its Eric8-A actually. He posts a reasonable ammount, especially about Americans.

But he said he first watched a race when he came home from school and his big brother told him to watch the Tour of California in 2009. If he stumbles on this thread he might be able to say if he is older or younger than you but its probably close.

Might start a "how old are you" thread with a anonymous poll to find out.
