Looking at his TT result in Etoile de Besseges it wouldn't surprise me that much to see Pedersen in the stage top 10, the guy's flying at the moment.

Should also be able to deal with the climb at the end, it's similar (slightly easier on paper but made harder because they hit it at lower speed) to the finish where he narrowly lost to Coquard in Bessèges.

Simon Yates with another random monster TT performance in Paris-Nice.
But he's built for time trials: tall, lean, muscular, heavier in the legs--weighing, what, about 80 kilos? Oh, wait a minute . . . just noticed I've been smoking out of the wrong pipe this morning.

A bit strange because the team has good TT bikes and his form seems to be fine. I guess lack of training on his TT bike could be the answer.
