Such a shame Quintana lost 2 minutes on that one stage. Had it not been for that crash, he would have podium'ed.

Apparently Richie said "it's great to be on the list of winners together with great champions like Bradley Wiggins and Tony Martin"

What has been missed is if Sky win both PN and TA that's 200 UCI points. Enough to secure the lead car in the classics

Porte heard on the radio that he was going to beat Wiggins time and he had to slow down. No need for conflicts.

BTW, nice job Quintana.

wait, why do 200 points in march get thm the leadcar now? If it was based on uci points why wasn't their points total from last year sufficient?

Assuming the intermediate point was exactly the same as last year Porte was 7s up on Wiggins from last year, fwiw.

by looking at him i would say an unlocked fridge happened

he looked much leaner last year
Westra certainly looked different on the TT last year, it seems he was a bit overgeared this time.

Surprising some trying to find an excuse for a guy who started road racing at 21 is now faster than an Olympic and world champion 4k pursuit dr over 5km!
