I don't think Jumbo's tire-inflation-device sales person will get a renewed contract.
Seems they have a habit of getting wheels that collapse and tubes that puncture here. Hard on wout and LaporteTwo badly timed mechanical problems. Not much they could do about it..
Nah he's much, much more powerful than Wiggins. He's also like ten years younger than wiggins was when he tried roubaix (twice). I doubt he'll ever be a Cancellara but if it's a softer race and he is able to improve his cobble skills to the point that he isn't desperately trying to close gaps on and after every sector he could definitely winVery good but he wasn't close to winning. He will not have a chance. I have wiggins vibes with him
First since Cancellara to have those 3 (MSR, RVV, PR) in his collection?Joins Tadej as the only current riders with 3 different monuments.
Van der Poel rode that race exactly as someone who thought they were strongest should have ridden it. He needed to win solo with the riders in the group, and that's not happening if he's not the only one who can bridge to van Aert.Well that sucked. Grats to MvdP though brawns over brain
They had some bad luck today and just generally with some of their strongest riders missing here or at RVV, but they still managed to get outnumbered by Alpecin after they decided to initiate the first split. Two badly timed mechanical problems. Not much they could do about it..
Unless they can prove it deliberate I don't think they can reasonably DQ him. He clearly lost a bit of grip and was looking for a better line, but his losing that grip slowed him down and caused MVDP to have to come around him. It's just bad luck for Degenkolb that that was the moment he had chosen to make his move on the inside, causing him to get squeezed for space. It wasn't in a sprint or anything like that where there are special rules regarding staying in your lane. Can someone tell me why Philipsen is not DQ'd?
So what he did was legal?
You’re joking right? How does he misbehave off the bike ?????

Only if he wants to look like an idiotLove if Jonh Degenkolb takes their rock and throws it down the field
No, that was a special explosion of hatred. That was like me at Richmond 2015, only the whole forum. So, is this what the 2011 Tour de Suisse was like?
Are you saying that Kung and Ganna don't bridge if Laporte doesn't puncture? If Laporte had not had a puncture, Philipsen and Vermeersch would probably not have come back.
I don’t think he was “held back by orders,” I think Alpecin played it dead right when you have a strong attacker and the fastest sprinter both in the group.Philipsen the strongest today? Maybe held back by orders & VDP status?
Anyway another show by Mathieu...what a beast!
I've put my take on the incident in this threadCan someone tell me why Philipsen is not DQ'd?
