I understand tax laws are very strict in Italy?

Shortly, he's italian living in Italy so he's supposed to pay tax on whatever he gets as pay (Cipollini and Rebellin's cases were different as they pretended to be living in Montecarlo).

The fact is that until a couple of years ago as we say in here they would close an eye (or both) but as the italian economy is very bad, they are trying to get everything on track.
