Anyway TT win by big margin is very impressive even if it's California. Hope he can take the form to TdF and win some flat stages against Cav, Kittel and so on.

And he wins a stage at the prestigious Tour of California!
It's 4th GT you know, at least for fanboys including most Slovakians.
what a bs is this? California 4th GT? lol

Sarcasm, man.

Anyway Someone more famous than me really said that, don't know who though.

Is California even in top 10 over the most important stage races?

Of course not

GuyIncognito and Kokoso:

I know it's not in top 5, but it could be in top 10. Name 10 races that are bigger.

Giro, Tour, Vuelta, Paris-Nice, Tirreno, Dauphiné, Suisse, Romandie, Catalunya, País Vasco.
Any of those is so, so, so, soooo much bigger than California.

It's a random continental race that gets a reasonable number of top riders riding it but not caring about it due to sponsor demand and a favourable place on the calendar where it has no competition. Even the Tour Down Under is bigger and nobody from outside Oceania really cares a lot about it. It's a good race, but it's not big.

Slovakians follow any race Sagan takes part on. And Czechs too I think. Also Moravians :)

I see what you did there :p
I agree with you tho. (but I said 'as closely' as others, not that they(we) dont follow it)

What a heroic effort. I love it when likeability, talent, modesty and heart come together all in one rider.

This ride really was something else. I have to admit that I've never been a huge Sagan fan, and I've really liked Alaphillipe, but I was jumping up and down screaming for Peter to keep going.

the image of those bulky legs of a heavy sprinter , sprinting on HC climbs at high altitude, to come top5 , those images were a revelation, it's like i saw Jesus or something like that.

what was the commercial , if you want you can, at some sport shoes.

TS fan here. I have to say I was down on Peter after his Classics showing this year.

But he rode with a big heart today!
Chapeau

He'll be very important in the Tour for Contador! Cobble stage, flat stages in generel, and now small hilly stages! What a beast.
