Besides cyclists Fuentes acknowledges in court to have worked with boxers, athletes, tennis players and football players but wont name any names.

+ the Spanish court will not give WADA access to Fuentes computer.

Nothing to see here....please move along.

According to them, it's a invasion of his privacy.

WADA and the Spanish ADA only have 3 days to give reasons why they want the blood bags.

The most we can expect is Fuentes enjoying a small vacation behind bars.

I don't understand why all this circus occurs if Fuentes is obviously intiminated by spanish security services. He is not going to say anything.

Do those bags exist in any form nowadays? Only they could become a key for some changes. Spain is unlikely to provide them for WADA though.

It seems they exist, but the Spanish won't hand them. Most of their sporting successes in the last decade would be swept away.

Fuentes is not intimidated. He's the bawss.

Anyway, he's now refusing to answer to WADA's questions.

Why he doesn't want to answer? Is he a global partiot or he loves his clients soo much? No. He is obviously warned about disastrous consequences (for himself), in case he will begin to talk.

It's not obvious at all. As long as he doesn't talk, he has power. If he were to speak, he'd have no leverage left.

edit: he doesn't want to answer because he doesn't want to lose this trial. And if he was being seriously threatened by the Spanish CIA, surely he wouldn't have dropped the line about having clients in tennis, football, etc?

I missed this from a couple of days ago, but apparently WADA agrees with you:

Wada calls for all names linked to Operation Puerto to be revealed

The head of the World Anti-Doping Agency has called on Spanish authorities to ensure the names of athletes across all sports linked to the 2006 Operation Puerto doping scandal are revealed

considerate of him not to mention handball this time (he had mentioned handball in that 2006 LeMonde interview, iirc)

Much as we'd like it to ses some more mainstream sports on the ropes, I cant see anything coming out of this trial that would undermine Spain's sporting success over the last 5-10 years.

But at least the missing 140 names might have caught the eye of some investigative journalists who find cycling and drugs a dog bites man story...

people are still in shock by the entire LA confession stunt.....

a Fuentes confession will truly shake the ground underneath the European Sports structure & perhaps the World's sporting image as we know it---The names & institutions he's worked with are worth in the "billions of Euros" in contracts, image copyrights-you name it-and yet with all that massive power-they're truly holding their breath every time he opens his mouth............
