Just heard about the crash on Norwegian TV. They were sharing car with Croatia. If I understood it correctly, they have all been sent to hospital, though my impression is that it was not serious.

They now are in a shimano car they are borrowing. But I don't know if any of the original team cars occupants are in it. Don't know about the status on the bikes on the roof or what happened to cause the crash.

Edit: Apparently at-least Katusha is on the way with a new reserve bike. Nothing said about the others. Though I would assume Sky and Belkin also have bikes to provide.

A few small breaks in the peloton over the climb this time. Not long and a riders are going to start to lose touch completely.

Evans seems to be one minute behind the peloton, if the GPS works right.

Not that far behind over the start finish line, but he might have gone back to the team car or had a mechanical

However Rodriguez and Taaramae have disappeared from the timings completely. Perhaps bike changes

Just tuned in. Peloton seemed pretty strung out over the finishing line area.

Is the race on any UK channels?

Edit BBC2 in 15. What lap are they on, any breaks got away yet?

4 are in the front, 8 minutes left and only Poland doing the work for over an hour. 100k left.

Cheers for that, frantic pace or settled down now. Who's doing the most work?

Poland are doing all of it. Apparently have been for 3-4 laps. Seems pretty silly, they'll blow up once the Spanish & Italians decide to lift the pace.

But that would be true for some of them whether they had worked or not.

Great ta, anyone fancy Kwiatowski today? I remember seeing him at Strade Bianch this year, very powerful on the last ramp. Sagan was beat well that day. I fancy Degenkolb today if he hangs in there.

Exactly. So they do the Peter Sagan-taktic: Working from the get go and hope that Kwiatkowski can get it done in the end.

Why don't they have transponder time checks in every race? It is well better. Sort it out Cookson.

X2, the lack of transponder time in races is really annoying.
