Wait, wha...?
This Bahrain Merida team isn't a joke?
Are you effing serious?
The UCI is going to allow a team sponsored by a dictator into the peloton?
Shame on the UCI and anyone involved in this project.
Vino might want to have a word with you
I'm assuming everyone here lives in a country where it's okay to criticize the government without fear of retribution.
It seems weird to say that I feel grateful for being one of them. I mean, it should be a given, right?
I don't mean to come across as sanctimonious, but I really have a hard time grasping the lack of attention being paid to the situation.
The team from Bahrain is funded by people who torture those who want to have a voice.
They beat and torture those who advocate for a democratic country, and we're here talking about Purito's decision to ride one more year.
Only thing more depressing about the UCI's decision to allow this team into the peloton is the realization that some people on this board who are writing from a democratic and free society will want me to shut up.
That's effed.
