I hope he gets a contract with a PCT team next year. CULT would be great!

I like Cult and I would not like to see the twitter knights blowing shyz to the team
so I hope he does not sign with Cult

I foolishly thought that someone (PC or WT) would give him a ride after his Vuelta win, surprising as it was. I never thought that he would be in the position that he is in now. Maybe he priced himself too high, as if he were in his early to mid thirties instead of in his forties. I guess the risk was just too high although Davide Rebellin is still out there at the PCT level (is that correct?) and he's of similar age.

Nothing embarrasing about doing domestic races for the next 10 years simply because he loves racing.

While this is true, forces seem to conspire to keep him off the elite level. I'm reminded of Mancebo.

Actually joining Paco next year at that Dubai team would not be a bad idea for Horner.

I gave my best and offered our beloved papy to tinkov.
Cant do anything more :(

At least Tinkov was smart enough not to emply him...did say he looked at arider at end of 2013 ...who was wel known but suspect passport ???...

I suppose he'd fit in with all the past (convicted & self confessed ) dopers , both staff & riders at TCS.....maybe they should have taken him on

Perhaps Horner is Tinkoff's next GC man if Contador retires at the end of the year? After all, there aren't many capable of filling AC's shoes.

So who is on his old boys all star team?

Horner
Evans
Sanchez
Rebellin
Petacchi
Basso
Peraud
Hushovd
Pellizotti
Leukemans
Danielson
Zubeldia
Tiralongo
Mancebo
Sevilla
Voigt
Szmyd
Paolini
Millar
Petrov
...

Does anyone really think that would be among the 3 best teams in the world? Or did he think about including Armstrong as well

It would be the cycling equivalent of 'The Expendables'.

You mean the movie with the cast of "actors" that are all jacked up on HGH just so they could make a movie? Sounds equally crazy.

They would not win a grand tour but I think they could get some decent wins. Not in the top 3 teams but they would not be one of the worst teams either.

Yes, they'd be better than BMC:D
I think it would be one of the better WT teams.
