After having watched Pieterse’s usual course recon I am changing my mind about the course. It looks like good fun for the riders and possibly an interesting race for the fans and viewers.
Definitely a lot muddier than earlier in the week though could freeze again overnight, but looks a bit more promising. So Puck encountered a guy from Norn Ireland and was trying to figure out what he was saying to her.(Think Derry girls accent here)That was funny.

I quite often think Puck looks like she's Irish; there's an Irish female horse racing presenter who looks a bit like her.
So who are the picks for today, Fem and Wout? Is there enough elevation change for Tom to be competitive or enough technical sections for Puck?
Christ, Hatch doing CX commentary.... and obviously not realising how few top riders there are in this field.

I don't understand the point of these slow-mo replays of not much. They show one on the approach to the sand but not the actual sand where Fem passed Puck...
A good race on what I still think was an ordinary course, but not as bad as feared. Nice win for Fem, but think Puck was hampered twice on the first lap, including on the hurdles by Betsema ...did well to come back - but not technical enough for her; as most CX courses aren't.
It's hard to see Wout being beaten; the main battle will be for 2nd.

Quality race on actually a quite decent course. I'm not sure what the riders were meaning when they said it was flat! It's definitely more lumpier than yesterdays event or even something like Beekse Bergen.
Interesting to see that S. Roche is participating in the women's race.
And neck and neck with S Kelly on the first lap or two…did they put the V50 men’s race on at the same time as the women?!
