Teunissen is not a GC threat. Why on earth is Hirschi not controlling this for Wellens?
Nice to see. And that Vermeersch is putting together a consistent season.
What the *** were UAE doing
Edit: Think Wellens got GC just about though
GC is more important. And after Tarling was done, Lotto had most to gain to keep the peloton behind. It was absolutely not Lotto's job to keep the pace in that group.
De LIe wouldve won this.
Uae did a super great stage? So whats your problem?

If Hirschi won the stage there were bonus seconds away for other riders it was a smart move.If Hirschi went on the front then Wellens gets the stage and gets more time, instead he went for an attack that was never going to work
The bunch really weren't far behind at all
No gaps?!

3 second rule. Looked like a whole lot of 1-2 second gaps to me. Hence why Hirschi should have pulled, now the riders in the peloton are needlessly close to Wellens. No gaps?!

It's not a categorised uphill finish. There's no way the 3 seconds rule counts on this stage right?
It's not a categorised uphill finish.
That's not enough, it has to be explicitly assigned as an expected bunch sprint finish to count. It's not a categorised uphill finish.
