GC is more important. And after Tarling was done, Lotto had most to gain to keep the peloton behind.

Vermeeesch was NEVER EVER winning that GC. Like never. It was obvious on the Bosberg that he wasnt one of the strongest in the group already.

It's great that De Lie can work for someone else, but he always wins this stage if they don't panic.

Can't the organizer choose normally? I saw in Denmark that out of nowhere it was 1s on a flat finish.

That's not enough, it has to be explicitly assigned as an expected bunch sprint finish to count.
