PN winners being weaker in comparison to TA winners was clearly meant on average, not in every single season individually.

Yes in Paris Nice we've had Henao, Soler, Schachmann, Betancur win recentlyPN winners being weaker in comparison to TA winners was clearly meant on average, not in every single season individually.
At the time Henao looked a potential future Giro or Vuelta winner if the stars aligned and Betancur had the talent but not the mentality to have a huge career. Schachmann could win LBL in the future and only Soler really stands out as someone who was totally unexpected.Yes in Paris Nice we've had Henao, Soler, Schachmann, Betancur win recently
I thought about Wiggins but definitely not Porte. Not in my book.Bernal, Thomas and Contador as winners of P-N I guess.
Would be odd to leave out the likes of Wiggins and Porte tho

Big shame that no Ronde for Alaphillipe as he has shown well in the race. Maybe it won’t become a prime target until he got LBL in his bag.Classic schedule for Alaphilippe
Talking about combining cobbles with Ardennes... This year might be the best year for riders like van der Poel and van Aert to try FW and/or LBL with Roubaix and Amstel being switched places in the calender. I doubt it'll happen however. He thinks combining Ronde and the Ardennes is not possible. You can't be in prime shape for both of them.
I think it was French elections that triggered it.Does anyone know why Amstel and Roubaix have switched in the calendar. Which race requested it?
Yes, French presidential elections on the scheduled day of Roubaix.I think it was French elections that triggered it.

Well, Jumbo will likely play the Roglic card at FW, but I would really like to see an in-form van der Poel at Fleche Wallone one day. This race should suit him and he could win it, I think. The same applies for LBL, here because of the flat finale van Aert would also have a great chance to win this race.Talking about combining cobbles with Ardennes... Exactly really would like to see van der Poel here this year. Would prefer that he skips one or two not so important cobble classics (Gent-Wevelgem, Dwars door Vlanderen) and instead rides FW and LBL.Imagine it‘s Fleche Wallonne, and it‘s MVDP vs Alaphilippe. Imagine Mathieu then is as strong as he was at Strade Bianche 2021. Alaphilippe would not have any chance then.
MVDP and WVA, they both could win all five monuments.
