Fixed your links.

I like both the kit and the bike. although i think it could have some more white. Also i doubt he will be using that bike all that much as that is Merida's aero model and he will be using the SL model most of the times.

You shouldn't have edited, because I switched links in the meantime and you placed back the old ones :p. The ones from meridaroadracing do not work because you have to be logged in to the site in order to see the images, so I downloaded them and placed them on a different host.

Will edit the post again. :)

And I agree that the bike should have more white.

He looks skinnier now, in early february than he looked at the end of the Tour last year. . .

And let's not even compare him to himself in 2012. . . barely looks like the same cyclist.

Wow. He's taking his role as overall tour contender serious:)

Highly doubt he will do a Froome, he will improve but wont be not even close to Froome like levels.

Besides he has been, arguably, the most steadily improving rider in the peloton since 2011 and just turned 27, so some sort of improvement is to be expected.

Also he is 1.83 m and looks to be around 65kg's so it's actually not that extreme. For comparison Nibali is 1.81 m and around 63kg's.

It's just happens to be a big difference from the 69kg's he weighted in 2012.

Yes agree, a top 10 in the tour would not be totally crazy. Of course if he get's near the podium, that would be something. But I can't really imagine he will. But then again, pro cycling tends to surprise you.

But did he make a statement about what he's expectations is, when it comes to Le tour?

I don't think so, he just said he isn't obsessed about it. I think that's a good perspective, get some ealy season results in Paris-Nice and perhaps the Ardennes and the get into the Tour with a free mind.

Okay, yes that makes sense.

Am I crazy for thinking top 5 at the tour is possible? I mean, the field will probably be pretty weak, and he did some pretty impressive climbing last year.

Mollema level doesnt seem too far fetched.

I think he has high expectations for the Tour, but it would be silly to put pressure in his own shoulders when he still has to prove himself in a 3 week race, and when he need to focus in early season objectives, PN and Liège. In the paper, this Tour parcours is very suited to him. Already did Roubaix, is a very decent TTer, can defend himself in high mountains. Also, in last Tour he proved some good recovery with great showdown in 3rd week. I think a Top 5 is possible if everything goes according to the plan. Top 10 would be a logical output IMO.
