i'm curious what strategy savio will adopt.if he wants to go into a breakaway to take minutes,they will let him only on etna stage.because after etna they will realize how strong he is.my prediction though is go in the attack in the last stage of the trilogy,all of them will be tired as fucc,hit them hard with two climbs to go.

if there was one guy who had a personality it was pantani. just renember what he said in 2000 tour to lance and when lance in stage after courchevel I think said in press conference that he and pantani could rule the race and pantani could finish 2nd. he even called him el elefantino.

pantani upon hearing from this said f*ck him I'm il pirato not il elefantino and I don't ride for 2nd places I only ride to win. he then decided to attack from first climb on against all team orders and rode himself into oblivion and even had te retire but after that tour everyone remembers pantani vs lance and nobody remembers lance vs beloki or ullrich who finished on podium.
