Note that Santambrogio and yet to be given his official sanction, even though he tested positive 8 months ago. This is because he has been working with the UCI and CONI telling them what he knows in exchange for a reduced sanction. He could be racing later this year.

Think BMC is concerned?

You think BMC has an organised doping program?

His results there wouldn't seem to indicate it (not that he was clean then). Maybe he could help them with Mantova and drive a further nail into Ballan's coffin. Maybe he has and the reason why Ballan is about to face the music.

But if BMC do lose Ballan, well he doped years ago at Lampre and all their thorough investigations showed up nothing. I'd say they've probably written him off already.

Doubt it. Best we can hope for is dirt on Ballan and a few others caught in the Mantova investigation.

If we are very lucky puffy cheek will provide info about Neri Sottoli's dirty operation.

edit: almost redundat

I love that clip of Santambrogio being passed out like a Junior at Tirreno Adriatico by Froome.
Froome had a tailwind though - Santambrogio just had EPO.

I guess according to the Walsh theorem, Froome can maintain the tempo of dopers, and then he can insert 5 minute bursts of maximum power output that destroyes everyone. Seems legit.

I think maybe Walsh meant he can only do this against cleans riders on Ventoux when he has a tailwind, but it does appear he can do the same to unrepentant dopers like Horner and Santa too. Most strange.

No, I don't think they have an organized program but it just adds more noise around them

The Tuscan spent much of the last year’s Giro fending off questions about Santambrogio’s eyebrow-raising run of early-season form, and with that in mind, perhaps, he said that YellowFluo will publish its riders’ blood values on the team website in 2014.

“We’re going to publish all of our riders’ biological passport data on our team’s website. It’s something we’ve looked at to show that we don’t have anything to hide,” said Scinto. “I’m happy because we wanted to rebuild. This is a new team and we want to find important sponsors to grow the team.”

I assume all the other teams will follow suit?

Horner should be hired. He can show the Italian Santas how a blood pass should look and what it takes to win a GT. By him, of course. Imagine Horner and Richie dropping Quintana like a rock before they fight mano a mano in the snowy Giro mountains.

Will Horner end up looking like puffy cheeks without the use of Botox?

I tried googling for yellowfluo's website, and checked a couple of cycling articles, but all turned up nada.

Anyone have a URL for their team website?

Thats because there's so many pseudo-experts out there and they can't be trusted. They hide behind the protection of anonymity.

Its much better to not release the data and have everyone speculate than provide the real figures and have a few who might misinterpret it

The mention of Sella made me think, and I wonder if this news and the Fortunato Baliani retirement with immediate effect are linked in any way. I mean, the guy's 40, but he's been plugging away in the Continental scene with seemingly no interest in retirement for a while.

When did Baliani retire? Have you got a link? Thanks.
