Is it late where you are - you seem tired and emotional.

I have repeatedly said we are discussing the prologue, not the tour.

It was a weaker than usual performance from Cadel, but he could easily be stronger than usual tomorrow.

I just dislike people trying to ignore reality and pretend it was up to expectations. After several weeks of hearing how the Dauphine is a joke race and Wiggins was peaking for it, I'm just amused to see Wiggins margin over Evans double since then.
I am being realistic

Like I said before within 10 seconds after the TT where Wiggins is a top shelf TT is something I would of taken regardless of where either of them finished - it could of been 59 & 60th for all I cared.

This was about damage limitation for Cadel, and I think he limited it as best as it could of been hoped.

Your acting like its the end of the tour for Cadel with your Epic fail BS....

Menchov and Wiggins were both 20 second behind him, so you might want to find a better example.

London I guess, Evans average but then blitzed the Vino TT. Similar margin to Wiggins too.

Evans not being tops now could be good or bad, everyone will spin that to suit their argument.

evans can gain some time back tomorrow anyway.
And the first MTF suits evans way more than it does for wiggins.

Imo Wiggo and Evans both did good but not great. Wiggo started a bit slow but finished good, while Evans started good but faded a bit the last kilometers. You really can't read too much into it .

Among the favorites Menchov, Hesjedal and Froome impressed me the most.

Things we learnt today.

1. Only 4 men can win the overall, Wiggo, Froome, Evans and Menchov. Menchov in particular has boosted his chances today.

2. Rodgers clearly peaked too soon for the Dauphine and he is going to be of no assistance to his teammates later in the race.

3. Sagan once again gets beaten in a big race, his record when it matters still stands at zero wins. Lay him for whatever you can afford for tomorrow's stage.

4. Valverde is a very, very average rider when he is racing on level terms with the rest of the peloton.

Yeah thank you.
Evans prefers longer TTs or TTs with hills.
Flat TTs are never great for him.

Yeah nice. But this is worthless. You know why ;-)

Lol yes, I know it's pretty worthless to compare this prologue to the 50km ITTs. And yeah, I did make a mistake with Evans. Counted his time to Cancellara instead of the one to Wiggins, sorry! It should be

10s --> 158,4s instead

I recall that the best GC contender in the 2010 prologue was a certain rider from Texas. What can we extrapolate from that?

lol, yes, lol, and Menchov did not.

I thought you would have known better than to try to use an example where one of the data points is completely incomparable, and the other is in opposition to your argument.

it was more about menchov doing much better than cadel doing worse.
And you really don't know any way to reply other than copying a phrase:rolleyes:

Made me laugh. So not worthless. Unless you are referring to it in terms of its relevancy to anything to do with the Tour de France of course. Then, yeah, completely useless.

Should be reported for Excel abuse.

I'm waiting for a Word document listing all the words that ryhme with orange.

Yeah. That's the problem. Glad you tidied that up. Its completely submitable now that you've made that crucial amendment.

Earlier today I thought I had finally decided that cineteq was the dimmer one, but I'm really getting less sure.

If you think the immitation was flattery, you have a limited grasp of language.

I didn't say that.
But really so many of your posts include you repeating some of my words, it gets lame and stupid.
If you haven't realise you aren't much brighter.
