Leo is slowly getting into good form, this is just start. He's gifted climber what he proved not one time... He had very few race kilometres in his legs and still is able to mix it up with the best. Shame Netapp wasn't invited to Giro, where he coulg get his chance for the GC... I think he should go to some Protour team when he had a chance - same goes for Barta.

Great result for Vorobyev, happy to see him getting some good results so far this season. :) Also good to see the form Moser showed at SB isn't completely gone (we don't have to hit the panic button yet).
Rebellin slips to 9th though, that sucks. :( Hopefully he can at least get a good result tomorrow.

Malori: 14 km TT. 52,85 km/h average (figure lifted from somewhere).

Ain't many in the peloton who can do that kind of speed on a circular route.

Will he be a factor in the "bigger" TT's this year?

Still a lot to prove in the longer ITTs, but he's been nowhere near this level in past years.

There are opportunities to further reshuffle top 10, but Ulissi appears to be too strong to dent seriously. We shall see.

Ulissi firmly in control, I don't think this is the kind of stage where he could suffer.

How long is that climb?

1° Damiano Caruso (Cannondale Pro Cycling)
2° Alessandro Mazzi (Utensilnord Ora24.eu) a 13"
3° Boris Shpilevsky (Lokosphinx) a 1'28"
4° Sergey Shilov (Lokosphinx) a 1'33"
5° Simone Ponzi (Astana) a 1'37"
6° Diego Rosa (Androni Giocattoli-Venezuela) a 1'44"
7° Carlos J. Quintero (Colombia) a 2'29"
8° Sergei Chernetski (Katusha) a 2'32"
9° Marco Coledan (Bardiani Valvole - Csf) a 2'40"
10° Simon Pavlin (Adria Mobil) a 3'11"

Break took the stage, Ulissi the overall.
