Seems like Uran is a late bloomer than Henao.

maltiv said:Apparently he had a hunger knock yesterday. I can't quite see how a professional rider can get a hunger knock on a mostly flat stage ridden at a very poor speed until the final climb but there you go...
SafeBet said:On such a finish? Beaten by Basso? He doesn't look in good shape to me. Maybe he'll be stronger later in the race but right now he's nowhere near the level he was expected to be.
hfer07 said:So according to you people- Henao - The designated leader of the team, forgot to eat, hit the wall- No team mates seen around to aid him -but Uran was allowed to kept going????
HE BLEW UP. SIMPLE-PLAIN-FACT.
Not what Porte "believed it took place" from the other side of the Atlantic, for fvcks sake!!
I am questioning what the Tasmanian is saying- I'm questioning the SKY PR BS
SafeBet said:Well hunger flat or not he was rather unspectacular today as well.
Contador did pretty well the day after his hunger flat in P-N '09.Ryo Hazuki said:you don't recuperate from a hunger flat within 1 day. he obviously went very deep and that takes in a gt some days to recuperate from.

SafeBet said:You sincerely believe he's in top shape?
Ryo Hazuki said:we will see. but he did already have a hard season. maybe he's tired like almost all of sky. but not counting that I'm sure he's in topshape or close to it.

TANK91 said:Tell that to Chris Froome, in a much harder stage than any in La Vuelta.
Ryo Hazuki said:when did chris froome ever hungerflat?
all_in said:Alpe d'Huez this year....
Vino attacks everyone said:That was not a hungerflat. If it had been he would have lost atleast 4 min. He just ran abit empty up d'huez.
Kokoso said:What happened with this supposed - to - be star? Was he ill? He told he feels in very good form. I fear he won't be another star on the Sky if this is what can he show in very good form. I thought top five is definitely in his grasp, mibby even win. There're plenty of potencial leaders on Sky.

JRanton said:He'll still be third in line behind Froome and Porte next year. Uran is leaving and Wiggins' stage race GC days are over. He'll likely get to lead at races like Catalunya, Pais Vasco, Ardennes/Lombardia. He'll be at the Tour to help Froome. I'd imagine Porte will want to ride for Froome at the Tour after the Giro so the Vuelta leadership will probably be Henao's again next year too.
