I read that too but I also read an interview that Sergio gave to a colombian newspaper this week where he says that he will probably stay in Colombia until the 27th of February and then will return to Europe to do the Paris - Nice.

I found it a bit weird since he was lined up to do Tirreno (which btw I think that have a parcours more suitable to him and Sky team is less stacked with GC contenders) but I don't know now...

Maybe the Andalucia line-up is a provisional one.

Yes, it is provisional and also very likely not the final line-up because I read an interview from Intxausti today in which he says he's riding Andalucia so at least one of those riders isn't doing it. Henao would make the most sense to not ride it. With the 20km time trial it's not like he can really aim for a top GC result there and Sky have enough climbing support.

Interesting to hear about Paris-Nice. I was looking forward to seeing him at Strade Bianchi but that's probably unlikely given that PN starts just a day later, although with only a short prologue on the first day I guess it's possible for him to fly over to France. The Paris-Nice route is actually pretty good for him so that does make some sense.

Sky have been shuffling their Paris-Nice and Tirreno teams. Both Nieve and now seemingly Henao have been moved to the Paris-Nice team presumably because the team time trial will be very important to the overall result at Tirreno.

SL Henao was going to do the nationals
they rescheduled the nationals and Henao was still going to do the nationals
then Henao said in an interview he wasnt going to do the nationals anymore and he didnt like they got rescheduled and he was (maybe) going to do Andalucia.

Yeah, but this time around they've done it with all their line-ups (CV, RdS, Algarve) so far. Which is a bit over the top now already. Why publish provisional schedules if they ain't worth anything!?

After his showing in the NC, I'm expecting some good things from him in France. Mont Brouilly is a very nice stage for him.

I think he will ride for Thomas and Kwiatek in Paris-Nice so no chance for him to show something. I think he will lead/co-lead only in Pais Vasco and Fleche this spring. And, I also think that he can win both on them. In Pais Vasco I think he's in the second tier of favourites after Contador and Purito, and in FW he's surely in the top 5 five favourites.

But if he rides the Giro won't he be tired for the Tour ?

I guess his only hope is he doesn't ride the Giro ...it depends as it is between him and Konig I imagine for the Tour place if the other possibles are fit and well and in form

Of course a few stages at the giro could be an option
Surely Landa wont need every rider every day ...or indeed a high GC place ...but I think stages are a better option

But he would do well to target one week and on day races

However given the sickness in the SKY camp among the Giro hopefuls this could be his year if he rides the Giro
