MBotero said:I don't think that are too many people who watched at least from Lance rising who believe that cycling has changed and now is clean.I think that nothing has changed and nothing will ever change, everything is the same, they just use different methods these days. I'm more pessimistic than you so i don't trust any of those guys in the pro peloton, nor that i blame them. They are just some peons in bigger game and they do what they have to do to survive in that world.
Well about the Sky bashing i find it too intense![]()
To the bolded: Is that possible? I see cheats always and everywhere (have a look at the politics threads, the soccer one as you know, the NFL one
OTOH, there are always some fine people even in high positions or elite sports. They are in a minority of course.
In cycling I trust only those who got a pass from different sources. That being Bassons, Casar, Delion, Moncoutie, and Mottet (even though tested positive once AFAIR), and trainer Paul Koechli.
I think cycling is cleaner than other sports, they try to control the damage, but unluckily Sky and Horner took advantage of this (still going all in, and thus gaining major advantages). Now we are (almost) back to the old days, no doubt. We might have had the cleanest 1 year in cycling somewhere between middle of 2010 and middle of 2011.
Look now: Valv-Piti better than ever, AC back to old plasticzicer form, Rebellin still winning at 40 whatever, Horner OFC, and so on...
