I use Picasa with no problems. All the personal photos I post come from there. But I can see you're not doing it right. Picasa is kind of goofy, here's how to do it:

Click the 'Image only (no link)' box.
Choose the correct image size.
Copy from the 'Embed image' line.
Then use that link in the insert image function on this forum.

I don't know why everyone has a hardon for this guy, since I am new

BUT it is clear he is not participating in a cycling race in this pic

it is my guess is is acting as support/ Sag/ sweep for a 5k charity run

in this pic:
*no one has a number pinned or on their bike
*sleeveless jerseys
*no one looks nervous or focused
*since when do guys and girls start together? even in citizen class
*if it was a race the banner hanging on the start/finish would not be for a 5k charity run
*not one of those riders even looks like a cat5 racer.. much less a miracle 57yr old who can hang with 25yr old catIII's

not the picasa http in the address bar

Used to race cat1, several years. Was really competitive in the South East, mostly crits and TTs were my forte.

Winning the NC State Crit Champs

driving the break at superweek in '03 or '04?

Just commuting to work on my CX bike now... Just cracked my road frame!

I am planning to race some CX this winter if I can build base over the summer but I don't think I will race road until I am old enough to do masters

it just sucks to be slow when you remember what true fitness was

I still got a big motor tho... I can crush the Jacob's ladder at the gym... So i'm hoping that bodes well for my return to racing cross

Nice pics. I see a seasilver guy in your second pic, looks like you are driving a break there. Good to see a fellow crit racer on this forum. :)

As for the guy in the pic above, he is a pretty vociferous supporter of Lance. That doesn't play well with a lot of guys here.
I agree that his pic looks more like a charity ride or "tour" as opposed to actual racing.

I can't remember the Seasilver guy's name but the fourth rider in the line is Frank Pipp racing for Bissel or Endeavor(?), wearing the leader's jersey he was on fiaaaahhh that year

I actually have a pair of Schroeder Iron socks from the Year the were a DivIII pro team.. That square-headed NZ guy that rode for them gave'em to me at Schlitz Park at Superweek in '02 maybe??

Because he threatened to fly down from Ohio, rape my wife, and kill me...seriously.

You live in one of my favorite cities in the world. Welcome.

No, it really is because he threatened to fly down, rape my wife and kill me. It kind of pi$$ed me off, and many of the regulars here were a bit taken back by his antics. I guess threatening to fly down to someone's city, rape someone's wife, and then kill them is kind of extreme to some people. I don't get it...

easy guy. I thought that was that Jackhammer guy. I had a run in with him too. I understand your anger. No need to direct it at me.

That would be Gordy (Gordon McCauley)? Multi time NZ national champ.:) Good guy, I consider him a friend, seriously strong rider.

That is the Jackhammer guy, and if I sounded angry at you, it was unintentional. I was not in any way posting out of anger. Sorry if it sounded that way.

No worries. That guy was a bit cracked. I didn't realize it is the same guy. I would be a bit angry too.

Well here is the results of my Second to last race, in November

BlairCrash2.jpg

PINats001.jpg

PINats004.jpg

My Last race was, about 5 weeks ago - actually on a bike, :)
for the First time in 19 years (I think, could be 18) I did a crit, now with the Vets and I have started in E grade, but I think they are going to put me up to D because even though I was 10th at the end I was able to make a solo break that got 400 mt before I faded, I hope they don't because you should see me go backwards on hills.... Next crit is supposed to be next week end, but it is also mothers day. Actually they Road race (mainly handicap) every week, but I am not quite ready for that, yet.
