i don't know where i read that he also wants to try win vuelta a espana so that would be why he's starting so late.but you never know with rujanito, probably he's just bored to race tachira.

he always wants to win the vuelta but he's never ridden it. androni won't be invited for sure. he will start season late to be better prepared for giro. langkawi is also what he did in 2005

Langkawi 2005 was incredible with Cox vs. Rujano. In 2005 he did Tachira and then Langkawi only one week later, but both races in January and early February. Next year Langkawi will start 24.02.. This seems a little late for me, nevertheless it is quite realistic for him to start his season there.

in 2010 langkawi started late too, then he rode there but also did tachira I think. for rujano it's better to have minimum racing days at start of giro so he has overweight. in giro 2005 I believe he started being 54 kg!! histopshape weight is 48 kg.

So it could be Langkawi, few Italian races, Trentino and then Giro. And then back to Gob. Zulia?

because he doesn;'t care for them. only races in europe he cares for are the gt's. rest is more important to win big races in venezuela or colombia

cycling in the south of south america is very different. you often see monsters there because races are totally flat, wind and sprints. the big guy on the right there is hugo abarzua. he is 190 and 97 kg, no kidding and probably gets paid to put wulfgang burmann out of the wind who is 166 and 54 kg and their team leader in these stageraces :)

in argentina, not in this race, rides guillermo brunetta who is 204 and 97 kg

Credit to the Vuelta Chile organizers for having such a professional website, okay it's in Spanish, but if I can't work out what Etapa, or altimetría mean by now then I'm struggling.

Two stages to pay attention too:

Stage 4:

the stage 4 btw finishes on a 20% ramp!! :O like mur de huy but a lot longer

and obviously important the opening 20 km ttt and a 20 km itt further down the week. also could be wind everywhere of course although it's not as bad as uruguay races
