Liggett is getting very excited as Lance is getting closer. Pl thinks Vino is not a team player.

So turn on another channel.
FFS, stop complaining about commentators only a few hear.
Or turn the sound off, that's what I do during the Nationals.

I wasn't really assuming the crash cause it, just mentioning the possibility. Clearly it's also possible he just is in terrible shape, or that he peaked early, or that he forgot to eat (which would be deliciously ironic :p).

Not only that, but its made worse by the heat which we all remember him struggling with in 03. COnsidering they haven't even got to the Pyrennes yet, I am beginning to actually believe he won't finish the tour even.

Andy Schleck fell harder than most in the Spa stage.

Yes, but the pack held back and let him back in it... the pace was high for Armstrong.

Not that they should hold up... they shouldn't. But Andy did catch a break.

Horner chatting away, not even trying. Armstrong meanwhile suffers

Price of being on Tour team. Horner could could probably contend for a top 15 if he didn't have an anchor.

OK, P&P are now showing a lack of understanding of team tactics. Vino being off the front is a "bad" thing? Always good to have a man up the road. Especially the guy who just got your bottles! :D

If Vino attacks and Contador attacks and bridges to him, I expect everyone to remember that I predicted this, since this will be my first accurate prediction EVER.

I'm on a slow stream again. Just write what you see and I will be full of awe and think you are magic!

(unless this has already happened and that's exactly what you are doing)

Jeebus. Horner should be up there with Leechheimer. He is tooling uphill like its a Sunday ride. Horner should be the leader. :)

Great moment on Eurosport:

"So, what do you think Sean, one Tour too many for Lance?"

"Ummm. Could be."

Did Phil and Paul reach the same conclusion?

Yes, nobody waited for him, just like nobody waited for him when he punctured on the cobbles.

Armstrong should have hired Peter Van Petegem to teach him how to ride on the cobbles. He's got a lot to learn.

Van den Broeck is a guy who could really gain if Shack stays off the back. He should go if Shack starts to come back.

how dare you attribute a perfectly good vinoattack to good tactics. astana is on the front they arent benefiting from having the michael jordan of Kazakhstan up the road.

in all seriousness, he's just riding at his own pace so he can be there in the finale with carlos probably. that or he really is just that cool.

Ok, I admit it. I hope Armstrong loses 30 minutes on this climb and the wild boar craps on him.

He'll probably eat the boar. mmmmmm Bacon
