I see Naesen lost his nerve & deleted his Gianetti post.
OK, so I don't read Benji's posts and he seems like a complete tool. But how is it incorrect to call out Gianetti? I mean, it has been done on this forum a lot.
Not trolling, an actual question
It's the blatant hypocrisy which is quite legendary, i.e. considering his mate Patrick Broe has literally been recruited to work alongside Niermann & others from the Rabobank era at Visma next season.
If you read his thread (which I unfortunately did), he then went & dug a deeper hole for himself & attempted to 'qualify' the level of culpability of dopers by claiming staff who doped their riders back in the 2000's (like Gianetti) were much worse than riders who doped in that era & later became staff (which we can assume means Vaughters, Vinokourov, Niermann etc. ).
Basically whatever the industry they cover, I've found "Influencers" always follow the exact same boom & bust cycle: rise to prominence thanks to favorable algorithms/connections, get loads of followers... then sell-out & start acting like a mouthpiece for corporate interests (which could have been the goal all along).
I think it's pretty obvious 'who' Naesen was defending & deflecting from considering his own past links with Jumbo (he did work for them) & the aforementioned Broe from Lanterne Rouge.
