Regarding the second quote from the article, he is not exactly wrong.

This quote you mean?
"It shows we’re held to a different standard than a lot of other teams.”
If so, it's just bs, as Rozman's "troubles" are due to a public court case and not one of the UCI/WADA secret get togethers. If it were Visma, Bora or whoever it would still be all over the news.

Who will clinic favourite Wiggo point the finger at? Will it be Dodgy Dave, Chris Clive, Rozman, the illusive Maestro Balthazar, or the much more likely option of 'dark forces' and 'elements within British cycling'.

I won't be purchasing the fog he is selling so hopefully someone on here with deep pockets can give us the cliffnotes.

I think the statement "I think if you looked at other teams as intensely, then there will be lots of questions about them” is actually correct. I don't think it changes anything about the attention Ineos received in this case, and it could just be deflection and whining from G (I'm only reading the bits you have provided). However, other than this forum, do other teams get the same attention on their associations? I mean UAE most likely should get hammered once a month for their continued leadership/management team of ex-dopers and former doping leadership actively running the team, but that bear rarely was poked, never mind fully investigated.

So G can be correct in some or much of what he says, but that does not change the issues at hand for Ineos and what has occurred. It is somewhat like saying ... "but other people do bad stuff too, why do we get all the h8t? Boo hoo"

What UAE have done these past years is way more then Team Sky did in their worse "jacked up" years. Should UAE be the poster boys everday of the week for "enhanced" guys and extremely dodgy management? Absolutely, but you can also add on Visma and some other teams who have joined in the "arms race".
UAE's/Pogis's PR has also been way better then Sky's.

Sky has won GTs with multiple riders.
Visma has won GTs with multiple riders.
UAE hasn't.

Did Sky or Visma win nearly 100 races in a year with 20 different riders? How many monuments or World Champs have they won since 2019?

Lazkano is allegedly the modern day equivalent of a 10 on the UCI suspicion index. Teflon Unzue has been laughed at and underestimated but the *** has produced yet another masterclass, guys getting popped before and after Movistar/Caisse d'Epargne/Banesto etc etc.

'They're all infected but he'll be alright'.

Well, boys and girls, mums and dads, that seems about it for the Euro pro-cycling for this year. Time to roll up the big top, sweep up the sawdust and the clowns are off to Thailand or where ever they go with the wives and girlfriends..
Of course we have the big roll out of the travelling circus itinerary for next year's July tour on Thursday, but in the meanwhile why not a poll on how mindblowing and mindnumbing the year has been?
10 for "everyone on rocket fuel, yippee!" and 1 for "not UAE again !"

Thanks to all contributors in the thread of course.

We can now conclude that when they're all in the same car definitely riding panagua Roglic is the best and Pog second :tearsofjoy:

Such a hilarious outcome of this year :joycat:

The ultimate UCI LOL

Recommending the peloton does not use Keytones because they don't help performance

The UCI is saying don't use something because it is not doping

Get ready for qball planetary destruction performances next year
They should definitely develop a test for it! That way they can test for a substance that does not improve performance and it would not make any differences if found 🤣🤣🤣

They should be more careful. HVMN is now lawyering up to sue them in some obscure European court for brand damages.

Knowing the UCI under Selfie Lapperiant, they'd suspend the riders for not doping

Oxford ketone ester has extremely well documented fat loss literature behind it. It’s used in the military and cycling teams spend millions on it. That stuff your mum pays over the odds from Holland and Barrett’s for is snake oil however.

Don't give them ideas

It's like when the banned Tramadol only after Tapentadol, which is 10 times more powerful, became available. UCI took no action

The UCI only banned a drug as doping when something much better became available
