Wheel was approved by UCI 8 days ago.I've seen a few photos of this. I don't know, but I'd guess there'd be no point in wasting precious prep time with a setup which wasn't legal. Would assume this is an option and he's seeing if it's faster.

Maybe mustard sleeve is the secret sauce to winning!I think I remember a pre-olympic training jersey in photos of him and Narvaez a couple of days before the race that was blue with one yellow (so slightly mustardy) sleeve. I remember being confused as to where the jersey was when I was hearing his name in commentary, and what nation were riding in white with a black sleeve. (race time in Japan was quite early here: that's my excuse)
Can't find a pic of it now.
Yup, we get to “see” (weather permitting) more, and more interesting, parts of Paris than we do for the usual Tour finale on the Champs.Welp, should be interesting! What a venue for a race. Looking forward to it.
interestingly, the reason Switzerland chose Bissegger over Hirschi was that his early start time in the ITT could secure a medal even in case of a weather change.

Bigger thief than Sam Bennett?Ethan Hayter is a thief.
Bigger thief than Sam Bennett?
Do we know why Mrs Pogacar was not picked? It's not as though she had a bad day at the Slovenian Nationals.Turns out Slovenia did bring Urska
Honestly, yes. I had great fun laughing at Bennett again these past weeks, but I gained a ton of respect for him when he fought to survive prior to his DNF, clearly being ill or fatigued. Hayter throws the towel, looking for his preferred position of last wheel at the slightest inconvenience. Then again, neither are half the thief in comparison to the new holder of the crown: Fabio Jakobsen.Bigger thief than Sam Bennett?

This time, the coach did try to defend himself. Basically he is saying that:
1. Last year, Pintar was ranked higher in UCI at the time when olympic quotas were being determined so she gets the road race spot because of that (even if she currently lags Urska by 100+ places in UCI standings and lost to her in national championship road race by 11 minutes. Yes... 11)
2. The TT spot gets Bujak for her WC TT performance in 2023. Which means she automatically gets the road race spot.
Here's the full article.
Most likely was not his decision, maybe Steve Park will comment, track is certainly getting preference over road with selection of Anna Morris.Ethan Hayter is a thief.
Last years hairstyles unfortunately.Apparently they have introduced a handicapping system to make the race fairer:

That proves nothing: I still have 1974's hairstyle.Last years hairstyles unfortunately.

I always find it weird when someone doesn’t want a specific rider to win.As long as Remco is not winning I am okay with every result. Remco not winning. Such a small dog.
Also weird to wish to see Armstrong lose in the Tour 20 years ago?I always find it weird when someone doesn’t want a specific rider to win.
Sensible judgment call. Tarling has a much better chance in the ITT and Hayter is the key man for the TP, so why bother risking that? Most likely was not his decision, maybe Steve Park will comment, track is certainly getting preference over road with selection of Anna Morris.
This just comes off as a small post.Road race will be won by break. I suspect a small group where MvdP, WvA, Mads P and such riders.
As long as Remco is not winning I am okay with every result. Remco not winning. Such a small dog. I miss Pog there though but I have to give him his class act and pulling out because his wife was not selected. What a gentleman.
